Does anyone have and care to share individual pictures of all Daytonas shown at 2005 Concorso Italiano and accompanied by chassis numbers would be even better ?

Thank you, but I don' see 14383 listed in your earlier post.

Photos of any other ones by chance ?
P.S. Not necessary or rush. Just if you or someone else happens to have any easily available.

    Hi Marcel,

If the car was since 1975 in Switzerland, and changed hands to another Swiss owner - was that truly the same car that Straight Eight had offered for sale at the 2006 Techno Classica? Their signage claims this car as 14399, but it doesn't look like the photo you had shared from 1984?

Starting 29 September 1971 14399 had four registered German owners (Source: German Fahrzeugbrief/Title) . Post -975 it was repainted from the original Marrone to gold metallic and then sold to Mrs. Sylvia S. in a suburb of Basel, Switzerland (Source: Swiss Title). She kept it for many years and later had it repainted red and in 2017 sold it to official dealer Niki Hasler AG in Basel, Switzerland. In 2019/2020 it underwent total restoration by Cremonini and was painted Blu Scuro Vallaster, a very deep dark blue for the new Swiss owner who had bought it in 2019 from Hasler.
The pic you posted shows a black interior/seats, which 14399 did not have. That placard/hang tag by Straight Eight appears to be incorrect.

i spoke with previous owner(rip) regularly. he was ocd about getting this car perfect. he wanted to take it to Cavallino and hopefully score a platino. i miss our
talks. he was both a dentist then a psychiatrist. his son is a physician.
owner was a true car guy.

I was visiting an old flame last week.
We had a quite intense, intimate relationship for couple of years about 20 years ago, but unlike me, she doesn’t appear to have aged much.

Another long time acquaintance encountered during last weeks 1100+ mile vintage road trip in my 92 y.o. Roadster up & down central coast of California.

    Image Unavailable, Please Login

Other encounters included a third Daytona (not shown), a 812SC Cord Beverly Sdn (I was supposed to get a ride’n’drive, but her brakes had failed the day before :(), a ‘58 Chrysler 300D, a ‘59 DeSoto Adventurer (rode in her to a dinner one night), a ‘69 Roadrunner Hemi w/4-spd (two spirited ride’n’drives up & down Lucas Valley Road in Marin County Friday/Saturday. I was quite surprised of her road behavior), a ‘72 C/4 (see C/4 thread) and another 40+ vintage cars of various makes/models in a few private collections/garages.

One day had a lunch with a gentleman who still owns his first car (‘37 Willys) he bought as a teenager 69 years ago (I was looking forward to seeing it, but it was in a upholstery shop with its proprietor having unexpected health problems … :(. Maybe next time).

Incredible car... but, only a name in common. Very difficult to make a comparison.
The new car is a pastiche, technically most amazing, but the spaceship look is not for me.
    Thank you for posting!

    Regards, Alberto

I agree that the new thing is surely very capable. But I've seen cars that were T-boned that looked better.

I would prefer a modern Daytona way over the F80 but overall i would always prefer Vintage, so 365 GTB/4 for me in a heartbeat!

I believe the modern "Daytona" was supposed to evoke the P4 of Daytona-24-Hours fame. Still sort of questionable even there...
