According to Artcurial who sold it from the Baillon Collection in 2015, first owner Gerard Blain bought it 21 October 1961 and then later, "Alain Delon (...) bought it, and had it registered in Monaco, 4452 MC. A copy of the Monégasque registration papers in the actor's name reveals that he registered it on 23 May 1963 in the Principality."
They state that Delon sold it in July 1965.

July 1965 Delon consigned 2935 GT to dealer Urman Automobiles at 40 bis rue Guersant in Paris and it was 2 August 1965 that Delon thru Urman sold it to the 3rd owner Paul Bouvot.

I recall seeing them there back then, took almost the same photo of the SWB. I used to walk to Pozzi occasionally in the early mid eighties. There was also the Le Mans 1970 coda lunga body section of the ecurie Francorchamps hanging on a wall upstairs.
One day Charles Pozzi himself kindly gave this kid a tour:)

Any photo of the body section ? Don't know if it was the original but one (short) was hanging in the FF Galleria .

No but I am sure I saw a photo here years ago, perhaps in the 512S/M thread. I am sure someone here will dredge it up; Giotto;-)? Your task for the day, thanks:)!

It was absolutely original no question, a yellow coda lunga (long tail) from the Ecurie Francorchamps entry, still somewhat grimy from use. The 512S specially in long tail form is an icon for me (and the subject of my very first -clumsy!- article back in 1992, Cavallino #72) so I had a good look at it every time and even asked if I could buy it:)! I am talking about 40 or so years ago barely a decade after Le Mans 1970.

Mr Pozzi's huge French blue Delahaye or Talbot Lago with wheel covers high above the wheels also sat for years just above the ramp to the upper floor.

No photo of the Francorchamps 512S tail.
Here's one with #1050 before the crash at Mas du Clos.

For more information about #1050, see Marcel's post #71 here :

Thank you. By not knowing if it was an original or not I meant the one at the FF Galleria/Garage Francorchamps

As Marcel noted that is a short tail. The long one at Pozzi was dirty, hanging off a wall in the same way. It probably was sold off. I might have a photo deep in my boxes but zero time to find it.

I know , it's why I wrote in post 12885 SHORT one hanging at the FF Galleria (so NOT the coda lunga from Pozzi). And my question was was this the original one of 1030 ?

    Yes, from Daytona 1971.
After that race 1030 was converted to M specs.
