Time to get this thread back on track. You've rambled enough.

In conclusion, CF tubs are superior, EV tech is for a select few morons, and not having physical HVAC buttons stink. You think otherwise, but yeah, you're mistaken.

You once again offer nothing but an opinion.
CF tubs - why are they superior, the spider flex is the only thing and even then the spider is slower than coupe Mac Lambo it's a fact.
Ferrari when building s Spider actually adds items / improving the car to compete with the coupe.
Great so according to you I am a moron - yet you post in a thread to get back on track where you hate the car.
I start my car - set the control for temp and make all radio adjustments on the "metal" switches to control the radio located behind the wheel.
The backlit touch buttons are very cool - if you would to pm me please do and I will offer you my contact information. There are many guys here that know me, maybe you should know who you call a moron and I would like to know you. Between Monterey / debuts / F1 track events I spend a lot of time in the car world. Question is - what do you do besides chirp.

You don't even know what you are rambling on about. You are spouting nonsense. I am not sure why I am wasting time responding to you. This will be my last response.

I offered my opinion on SUBJECTIVE styling cues. What else am I supposed to offer?

Here are some facts for your next points. Thanks partly to the CF tub, the 720 spider and coupe both do 0-60 in 2.8 seconds. The 488 spider takes 0.3 seconds longer than the 488 GTB. So, no, it's not a "fact." Just because you want it to be one way doesn't make it that way.

CF tubs are also superior outside of spider flex. They are also superior in the coupe rigidity. This was never meant to be a McLaren/Ferrari debate; as I already mentioned, I am a Ferrari fan first. McLaren also adds the Electrochromatic roof for the Spider which is neat. I only point this out because you said Ferrari "actually adds items/improving the car to compete with the coupe".

You called me a moron first, and more than once. Sorry you expected me to lie down and take it.

Backlit touch buttons exist on physical buttons as well. This striking technology feature has been available since probably the early 2000s. Simple controls do NOT need to be buried in menus when a physical button does the trick. Again, just because you have the product does not make it superior. As you already mentioned, you would buy it regardless, with your 5 cars and another 4 on order. No one cares about how many Purosangues you own.

I gave an opinion about the direction of the car and you got extremely butthurt about that. Instead of saying what features you liked about it, you started saying how I could not run Ferrari or how Ferrari was doing great. Again, these were points that I never brought up, nor did I ever say Ferrari was not doing great. In fact, I said Ferrari would be just fine without me. I would hate to know you, so no I do not want to call you or talk to you. I feel bad for the poor souls that are forced to talk to you on the F1 track because you spent money to be there. You sound like a miserable prick who makes everything about them and thinks they are an expert because the salesman told them its the latest and greatest. Good riddance.

You posted your Ferrari - dislikes I believe 4x used the words sux.
Don't worry about people feeling sorry for me - I knew this was going to be juvenile tactics by you as you have zero experience.
When I stated spider flex - was talking about Ferrari making their Spiders better to compete with the coupe. Mclaren actually softened the 765LT spider in some ways vs coupe,
I owned 000 765LT spider all carbon with blue roof light - it did indeed seem cool but the heat and light were not so cool. The car was sold to me by the factory and I selected a dealer. Want to talk about Mclaren - let's do that. I sold it due to the tight fit - I am not short and carbon tubs tend to offer less space than more and I no longer for reasons stated think CF tub is better.

I then asked you to pm me - if you truly want to take it to a personal level - go ahead and we can do that.
A miserable prick when It comes to punks like you - 100% I own that.
Also own that I take the time to learn and experience the cars early on by attending debuts speaking with engineers designers.

In your mind I am miserable - that was my intention - again 100%

You called me a moron first - you are what you are. Dish it but can't take it

How many times do I have to tell you that I do not want to PM you. I do not want to call you. I do not want to get personal with you. You are the one who keeps bringing that up.

How do Ferrari make the spiders better to compete with the coupe? Increase in power to offset the added weight? No, so how then exactly?

I stated how I did not like the DIRECTION ferrari was going. I don't understand why you cannot fahtom that specific point, even though I've explained it ad nauseam now. You are either inept, trolling, or just refuse to acknowledge that while I love many things Ferrari, I just don't care for EV, haptics or large screens everywhere replacing analog tachs. To me they suck. You then come back and say its juvenile tactics, all the while never countering any actual point or fact I make but talk yet again about cars you own and make up things I said like "Wanna talk about McLaren?!?!" No, I specifically said I did not want to talk about McLaren. You are absolutely delusional.

    Lastly, zero experience with what?

16M \ GTS both improved performance aero over the coupes. Raised hp torque performance in both GTS added aero bits diffuser improved added 812 hp to offset the gpf filter etc.
16M was the first time Ferrari lessened the weight in a spider. Schumacher played a role in the Scud / 16M.
You can hate or love Ferrari - bottom line is you say they suck because of a few touch switches EV which is not even out yet and a screen.

Flip side is - 5 years later the horrid SF90 is faster than today's Lambo. But who cares about speed performance drivability reliability. The buttons and screens just ruin the whole thing - according to you.

FWIW, you must be enormous to not fit properly in a 765LT. I am 6’6” 255lbs and I fit GREAT in my previous 765LT. I even had Senna seats. The headroom, driving position, leg room, and visibility were all glorious. Carbon tubs tend to offer less space…lol.

Really well done. Let me share what you don't know / missed in my post.
My Senna to get in n out was much easier but in spider LT almost needed to take down top to get in n out.
The door opening is different in LT coupe vs spider - you and I along with others discussed this on Mac forum in volumes - I did learn there were some adjustments that could be made but it wouldn't help much if at all.

    You lol still -

Fair enough, so the real problem wasn’t cabin size and overall fitment, but rather ingress/egress.

Cadster - Open your door 3/4 of the way and get in n out. Ever get in / out of your car when someone or another car is parked tight to your door?
It's not easy - in fact it twisted my knee to maneuver getting in and out.
The cabin size changed due to where they place the seat - yes there was less headroom slightly but less. In the Senna lots of head room but in LT needed to take top to wear a helmet. Perhaps mind being 000 was the issue and they moved the seat later - I don't know but the Spider vs Coupe is far harder to get in and out on any Mac. You know all Senna seats are not equal right? Some have more padding than others. When you are above 6' it's a problem. In my SV Lambo my vision was at the top of the windshield / bar. I had to twist my head to see the traffic light. I ordered electric seats so the seat rested between the rails vs on top. You know as well as anyone it's not easy fitting in Italian or any exotic.

Companies build a car for a coupe - then they structure a Spider to work making all sorts of changes.
The top and the mechanics take away cabin space - they don't rebuild the frame.

prefer a darker night cabin, I'm not flying a 747 with a million important controls...

It wasn’t hard to pull the extra cushions out the of the Senna seats. Of course my car was not 000 so who knows.

And worth mentioning too, I have a 2005 Ford GT which, as most of us know, is the single hardest car ever to get in/out of in a tight parking spot, and I manage to make that work.

I found my 458s harder to get in an out of vs my McLaren. The door is so long if someone parks next to you, you’re screwed. You can get it open enough.

and Caddy id love to see your big ass trying to get out of a compromised parking spot in a ‘05 GT lol.

    Again, you are speaking nonsense.

First, the 16M isn't a direct comparison to the F430 Scuderia. It was a limited edition car (only 499 examples were made) and was made to celebrate Ferrari's 16th Constructors championship, which didn't happen until a year after the Scud was already on sale. The car then came out another year after that and was sold only to pre-selected clients. So this is not a direct comparison of a spider to coupe.

But if it was a direct comparison, your facts would still be wrong. The 16M has the same compression, engine and aero as the Scuderia.

I wont even touch on adding aero bits to offset a GPF. Get serious.

Are you insinuating the 812GTS has more HP and Torque than the superfast?

Own 16M - spider version of Scuderia. It does not have the same engine / exhaust make up or it would sound the same. It does NOT sound like the Scud and quicker.

Pre selected 16M clients - factory shuttered for an extended amount of time as orders were being cancelled due to economic environment.
Were you pre - selected :) did you listen to Schumacher when the cars were announced. Attend the 16M debut - do tell me about a car I have owned for over a decade.
812GTS has more hp to offset the loss vs 812 with non particulate filter.
Yes they added hp to the later 812s. Spider also has a better rear diffuser and front windshield aero on GTS.
Enjoy your hate for Ferrari - unfounded which is likely reflective of everything you do, you are in good company there are many here who do the same. It's why so few owners post here - imagine that!

Every single piece of technical data out there shows they are the same engine, compression and aero, lol. I don’t care that you were at some unveiling with Schumacher. The technical facts are the technical facts. You most likely misunderstood they were comparing it to the 430 and the Scud. I am not surprised the spider with the top down sounds different than the coupe with the top up. By the way, you never mentioned exhaust in your first point, but yet again you move the goal posts when you are proven wrong.

812 GTS and Superfast have same torque and HP. Again, all press releases and technical documents show this. Shall we pull some dynos?

Curious, how much power do you think a GPF/OPF takes away from a car?

A precision about this urban legend of Schumi's involvement in the development of the 430 Scuderia.
He proposed an additional mode to Manettino, so that the suspension can absorb irregularities as well as possible and the tyre can work over its entire surface when the electronics release the engine flange.
Nothing more, he did not involved in any other with the exception of promotion , it was Benuzzi s team that took care of the development.
Considering the entire emission control systems of the 6.5 liter V12, taking into account the restrictions on the diameter of the exhaust manifold, the catalytic converter and particulate filter system, the restrictive electronic management and the design of the exhaust elements for noise standards, it is estimated that there is about 70 hp lost.
The capacity of V12 on the bench without any restriction is about 900hp at 10,000 rpm...so unfortunately theoretical because pollution control systems are mandatory.
To compensate for the loss of power on the GTS as a result of the particulate filter( about 25 hp lost ), the electronic management frees up some hp in order to return to the level before installing the filter.

With the exception of the Cosworth V12, this 6.3 / 6.5 V12 is the best engine in automotive history, and if we take into account its longevity, unlike the Cosworth it is made to last, it is simply the best engine in the history of the automobile,it squeezes 10,000 rpm on the bench for thousands of kilometers without faltering ,with that of the F50 in a different register...

So tired of your renditions - are you calling Schumacher a liar?
Let the man rest in peace - this is a new low for even you.
Read one of many articles that say different than you - not a surprise.as you never have support for your posts. The man literally crashed the prototype at a high speed at the N Ring.
