Listen man, you're hated by a lot of people here, I think you have mental health issues... When you argue with everyone like in your case and insult everyone, at some point you should ask yourself questions, what I doubt you are capable of, is what we call... the opposite of intelligence You don't know anything about Ferrari and you open your... it's ridiculous... The best thing the moderators could do would be to get you out of this forum for good ! We're all tired of you,and your cars on order that we have nothing to do with !!! do you hear this ???
Michael Schumacher is not dead… he may even have more of a functioning brain than you What does that NZHerald post about the scud have anything to do with that lies you have been trying to make truths? Absolutely nothing at all. You are delusional Edit: By the way, I just want to point out how much you’ve sidestepped everything I’ve said which started off as an opinion of mine about EV and haptic buttons. We are now talking about Michael Schumacher and the scud. Just stop. None of your points have any fact and everything I said is easily found in technical documents on Google.
Guys can we stop the Mitch stuff?…back to pictures ,stories, and experiences? No disrespect to anyone! We all love fast ****
Love when held accountable - you pivot to an attack. Just support your posts - if you can't that's not my fault. Yes - I am tired of reading fake posts. 100%
I didn't say he was- said rest in peace. Stop your nonsense. I've listened to you whine - enough already.
You all need to simmer down. @day355 : love your posts here bro. I must say that your point about MS and the Scud makes no sense. So they have him the car to provide feedback and he did, and they took action on it making the suspension button however you think that no other feed back was given to the cars handling? This is silly. Obviously we all know he didn’t do the heavy lifting of setting up the car necessarily however he certainly influenced it. Coco seems to be keeping his cool the most. The other who I won’t condescend to even name has revealed themselves. I’m surprised they don’t have some homework due they can spend their time on rather than waste bandwidth with their redundant nonsense.
I can tell you that this has often been discussed, and that the development of the car was finished when he intervened. Benuzzi's team had to put itself in the shoes of the basic driver and make the car safe in its suspension and geometry settings. it has nothing to do with the way a professional drives, especially since Schumi has always liked to have a mobile rear end with oversteer. It's the opposite of the Scuderia which has a lot of pinch on the rear to push back oversteer. After that, you are free to think
Thanks and we all have our take on what was said. I have no doubt Day has some knowledge about the past of Ferrari. MS with his son from what I was told by reliable sources - crashed the prototype Scud 430 at the ring at a high speed. Both walked away and MS called to the factory for another car. Which means he was involved early on and tested the prototype. The success of the 499P has been passed on to the SF90. 200k buy in to the hybrid club allowing customers to order the livery etc. Anyone can love or hate Ferrari - however one can not take away their success, it's proven. Hybrid is a way of easing customers into electricity - whomever Ferrari loses along the way they will pick up in volumes going forward. Ferrari offering SF90XX to SF90 customers only - Ferrari like them or hate them rewards loyalty.
Yeah I hear ya. The SF90 was released 2019 and the 499P 2023 so not sure how the 499P could have influenced the SF90 much. Interesting about MS and the Scud at the Ring. Hadn’t heard that before.
lol thanks for your opinion on the matter. Next time maybe someone will ask for it. I don’t rate you highly either
True - Ferrari recently offered the 200k buy in to Hybrid club. Attend the events etc. They are tethering the 499P to SF90 with a race livery matching 499P also available on SF90 XX I'm sure it's in part marketing but pretty cool to have a livery of a wining race car on a street Ferrari.
I have a hard time with lights and glare at night. SF90 screen is absolutely fine. Looks nothing like the overexposed picture. Let’s discuss facts please.
There are some choice examples of how to win friends and influence enemies here!! LOL Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
First - you are not making sense but I will try to answer what I think you are asking. There was a known software update in 2009 Scud and 16M vs 2008 Scud. 16M exhaust manifold etc were improved - you are trying to win in a discussion you have zero first hand knowledge of - zero. Go read the 812 forum - it's there in black and white. The 16M has many unknowns - I have installed a full Capristo or I would take it to a dyno because you are so endearing. Technical facts are technical facts - goo to know because a factory has never overstated or understated technical data - OK!
I have been reading this thread for some time and there seems to be a lot of anger being vented by you. You should just state your car ownership and how is it that you seemingly know so much about cards that you likely don’t own. Just an observation as the other posters seemingly are speaking from actual car ownership perspectives.
I’ll say it again, only a couple people on FChat find it at all controversial that: 1). Electrification (especially pure EV) driven by regulatory pressure is a less desirable path forward for many (most?) enthusiasts. 2). Haptics suck. 3), Big screens suck. 4). GPF and the various other mechanisms for shunting exhaust sound are the devil. Discussing these points, even worse arguing about these points, is a complete waste of time. Nobody will ever convince me otherwise and I am not alone in my position. And I certainly don’t need to own a certain car to have my mind changed.
That blank response to Luis Litt was just awesome. Sorry can't help it. Watching Suits right now. I am the one who started this thread. Man the last few pages of this thread was like a whole season from Suits with Luis Litt being so petty and argumentative.
I think EV is awesome as long as it stays as an assistance for the immediate torque to push out of corner when the engine is a NA one. I for one could not deal with the haptic control. When I am driving freeway and I don't want to look at the mirror setting to figure it. I love the big screen of both SF90 and Revuelto. Who ever thinks GPF is good to the noise cannot be serious.
Enthusiasts - I am not sure what you mean. Ferrari had more orders than allocations for SF90. If they sold out how is it less desirable? You haven't owned a haptic button Ferrari - it took some time to get used to but I like it. If it makes you feel better the windshield wiper control is metal on the SF90 steering wheel. Big screens - 765LT is an 8 inch screen - you apparently own one and what size is the screen that sucks on the SF90? Explain your position - The Roma interior big screen is close to the same size as the 765LT. So it didn't stop you from buying. GPF - obviously that's due to regulations and is across the board. Cadster - if you don't like the SF90 do you think they are going to listen and change their next version because enthusiasts say so? I think you and others are missing the premise of Ferrari. They want to be a modern leader - not the old school you and others seek. They were 5 years ahead of the competition on the SF90. Fast forward it's still faster than the Lambo - cosmetics aside that is impressive. The Ferrari dislike Is fine - but it's also ok on a Ferrari forum for owners to enjoy their cars. Think about that - I am the only one battling the Ferrari dislike. If you want other owners to post and share their experience you all would "cool it" on the hate of the brand and cars they are producing. You are making personal claims that are similar in all exotic brands - not just Ferrari. I could go look if you posted the same thing on 765 or Artura P1 Mclaren forum - my guess is you did not.
First, let me help you with “enthusiast”. You ever play around with any of the latest online AI tools? Grok is my favorite because I love Elon Musk and I think he’s is modern day Da Vinci or Newton. Here’s what Grok says: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Now let me take a quick, and friendly swing at the rest: 1). The SF90 is glorious. Powerful, fast, ahead of its time, a technical marvel, drives lighter than its curb weight, etc. I am not sure any of that is in dispute. I happen to like the car and I have been causally shopping for one for well over a year. That said, its market popularity is dubious. Despite having a modest production run, there’s crap ton for sale, the values are nearly below equivalent Pista’s and I think there’s around 10 Pista for every 1 SF90, at least in the US. The overall market response is somewhat tepid especially considering how wonderful the car is. My question is…why? I think it has a lot to do with a rejection of certain aspects of Ferrari modernity that many enthusiasts (see Grok above) don’t agree with. 2). I no longer own a 765LT. And just because I did at one time, doesn’t necessarily mean I loved the screens. I strongly prefer old school gauges, and no one, not even you will convince that I shouldn’t. 3). To be clear, I love Ferrari. I have a Pista and 812 GTS, and both will reside permanently in my garage. I don’t hate Ferrari, but I do strongly wish that they had taken a different development path with their cars. To me, electrification is a solution searching for a problem. I understand that regulatory pressure has contributed to this shift. Seeing aside regulations, I would strongly prefer beefed up ICE power plants, time/money spent of making cars lighter, tactile switches/buttons, and old school gauges. I don’t think I am alone in my desires. My grail car would be a lightweight SF90 sized vehicle with the V12 from the 812 stuffed in the rear (no-GPF please). I really don’t care what that car would cost. Go ahead and take my money. Also, imagine for a moment a 296 sized vehicle with a juiced up V6, no electrification, made super lightweight and complete with a manual gear box. Again…take my money. Lastly, just because Ferrari sells every car and makes billions, does not mean that couldn’t make even more money by taking a different approach. 4). Yes…I think many brands have missed the runway on their current offerings. In conclusion, I’m cool with you being a complete Ferrari apologist, why cannot you be cool with me, and others, feeling like there’s an alternate universe where Ferrari is even better…?
