I sold my Boxer and 308 QV GTS in the last 2 years. Afterwards, I bought a couple BMW M Roadsters, both sold, a 2013 Corvette 427 convertible, sold and I have 2 Porsches, a 2015 Carrera S manual, coupe and a 87 Carrera, coupe

But I do miss the Ferrari and I'm thinking of selling the porsches and finding a 308GTB. I really only want 77 GTB or a QV GTB. I'd prefer to find a carbed car and Euro cars are fine as well.

It does not have to be US. My one thing is the car needs to be in very good condition and a private long-term owner is ideal. I'm more than capable of doing a belt/major service but I don't want to start doing everything so a car coming up on a service is okay.

If anyone knows of a great car I'd appreciate any info. You can PM me.

    Thanks.

This car is available...see the thread: '79 308 restoration. I bought this car from Newman immediately post-restoration. After I had it a few years Newman did a 3.4 stroker upgrade for me. Hasn't been used very much as I have a tr and a 360 as well and I live in Alberta Canada so short driving season. Major service performed by Newman in fall of 22 and maybe 3 or 4 tanks of gas since. 403 627 7897. Needs nothing, drives beautifully, and is downright peppy.

My heart always skips a beat whenever a 308 GTB shows up, especially if it's for sale. I would be very interested to know where prices are currently. Without prejudicing any ongoing negotiations by the buyers/sellers on this thread, can someone proffer an opinion that would orient me moneywise should I decide to replace my '77 GTB I regret selling a decade ago?

I would offer that auction results, sourced from multiple auction houses, gives a fairly accurate representation of values over time. I.e. I'm a fan of aggregated factual information vs opinion or one off anecdotes.

For example, Bring a Trailer (BaT) provides a nice graphical representation of both their sold and unsold auction results, which can be filtered:

If I ever wanted to get into a 308, it would definitely be a Euro ‘77 GTB.

Further to my above post...The car has been converted to more or less European specs including: custom headers and no cats, no diaper at all and has the very attractive 'clean' European look from the rear aspect. The side marker lights are the tiny round ones.

A yellow/black carbed GTB is the most desirable car in the world to me. Of anything.

That was bought by @MaranelloMark. I saw it when he brought it over. Nice mean looking car. A lot left to be sorted out.

I do not know of a GTB for sale, but I do know a GTS QV for sale. One of the best samples, breath-takingly beautiful in person.

It's going to be hard to fine a US GTB QV. There were only 59 imported as US spec. And you have to figure a few of those were wrecked.
