I am accepting an allocation tomorrow, super excited about getting to spec one.
After going through what seemed like hundreds of reds, we settled on Rosso Libano. It came out exactly as we had hoped. Darker indoors/in the shade and almost liquid like in the sun. So far it’s getting rave reviews by all who have seen it in the flesh.
Yes Rosso Libano is a superb result with that paint choice. I did notice how much the color darkened in the shade vs sunshine; delightful!
I had a feeling that was Libano, as that is what we ordered as well. With the samples, I was more impressed with Libano than even my favorite Maranello!
The Rosso Libano was first created in 2012 to honour Lebanon. Here it is on a 2015 version F12 > Image Unavailable, Please Login Later two more colors were added. They were Grigio Libano a medium gray. Also Giallo Libano was a further choice to.
I did not know that! Thanks for sharing. Is it safe to assume all three were created as part of the TM program for a Lebanese client?
Probably a good thought but Ferrari in recent times has become reluctant to talk about their practices. Unless you are a profile story in The Official Ferrari Magazine; little is known about their clients. Makes Ferrari Chat here a source for Ferrari knowledge. Sadly though just the tip of the iceberg, so to speak considering the number of Ferrari automobiles built each year.
Impossible to be a daily drive!!!!! The Bluetooth/car play connectivity has issues and there is no built in system so ABSOLUTELY NOT!!
I drove the PS the other day. I was “allocated” one early but haven’t specced it yet. I wanted to not like it, an SUV, so expensive etc, but I LOVED it! I was completely surprised, it felt analog, the engine was amazing and sounded great. The seating position is perfect and the car felt small and responsive. Felt a bit like an 812 except better! I’m very surprised. Quite excited to spec it now.
Totally can relate. I didn’t know what to expect and honestly one of the most solid and best GT cars I’ve driven. Very impressed. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Same here : I drove 1700km with mine now. The best word to de scribe it is "impressive" The only thing that drives me crazy is the touchpad on the steering wheel.
same here..... engine, chassis, the entire powertrain.... a blast to drive but the whole infotainment, touchpad etc is a nightmare.
I test drove last week and had same impression. I passed on a 26/27 allocation a while back (and don't regret it, too much $$ for a daily for my situation), but I would love to pickup a used one in 18-24 months. Was seriously surprised and impressed with it.
Currently have a SF90 (previously owned a 296 GTB and F8), and now have a 296 GTS and Puro on order. I'm honestly more excited about my Puro then all of the others.
How would you compare F8 to SF90? Are you coming both SF90 and 296GTS? Same here looking forward to Puro and 12Ci
I've owned a F8, 296 GTB, and SF90 (current car). I have a 296 GTS and Puro on order. Outside of the dash buttons, the 296 is better in every way than the F8 (I don't love the haptics on the hybrids). The 296 vs SF90 is a tough one. Both are phenomenal, but the overall presence and better acceleration from a dig makes the SF90 the 'slightly' better car to me (although I like the 296 exhaust sound better and the GTS might change my mind between the two). However, I don't believe the SF90 is worth $250k more than the 296.
