I was NOT a fan of the Nashville street circuit; I hope they keep the Nashville race at the speedway.

If they go back to the street circuit I hope it’s a completely different layout

but I’d be ok with keeping this track on the circuit too. maybe take a grinder to that speed bump in turn 4 :p

    IP dispute with Andretti apparently

doesn’t really seem worthy of an fbi investigation but whatever

I watched the Indy car race the first time every car looks the same besides the Color and motor is this a regulation,so changes to the wings and bodywork are not allowed?

    Marcus Armstrong to Meyer Shank

interesting because a) it opens a seat at Ganassi, and b) I believe Scott Dixon is Armstrong's manager/advisor

also, legendary NASCAR reporter Bob Pockrass is now covering IndyCar via their Fox deal. so we got that going for us

According to a friend who lives in Nashville now, they ran at the oval there due to construction
going on around building the new Nissan Stadium and it wasn't possible to run a race there as a result.

Not sure if they're planning to return to the street circuit after the stadium construction is
finished or if they'll return to the oval.

yes, but the new NFL stadium isn't slated to open until '27, so I'm not sure what Indycar will do in '25 or '26...at which point you could have date equity/momentum at the Speedway....

downtown Nashville was a great venue with a terrible track, Nashville Speedway is the opposite :p

I’m sad to see the fabled Andretti name fade from motorsports. I wonder if he’s being pushed out by investors or at his age, perhaps he’s facing a health situation. I wish him and the family the best…

If you're anywhere near Atlanta between now and Groundhog Day, you can see all of the following IndyCars, and I know that most of them, if not all of them, were race winners. This is at the Savoy Automobile Museum in Cartersville, GA. (Harroun's 1911 Wasp will be arriving in "late November".) I see cars on the list driven by Vukovich, Ward, Al Sr., Donohue, Foyt and Johncock. They just arrived today.

    1911 Marmon Wasp
    1912 National
    1922 Duesenberg 183 (Grand Prix) #12
    1932 Miller Hartz Special #34
    1946 Adams (Thorne Engineering Special)
1948 Deidt Blue Crown Special #3
1953 Kurtis Kraft (Fuel Injection Special) #14
    1962 Watson (Leader Card 500) #3
    1971 Colt-Ford (Jonny Lightning) #1
    1972 McLaren M16B/I (Sunoco Special) #66
    1977 Coyote (Gilmore Special) #14
    1982 Wildcat V111B (STP Oil Treatment) # 20

Despite suffering severe leg injuries, Pietro Fittipaldi displayed extraordinary resilience and determination, fighting his way back to high-level competitive racing. His journey is a powerful reminder of the strength of the human spirit.
