    This is an unfortunate reminder still that in regards to a championship, even if Ferrari have the car, they do not have the team…

    NOBODY has "schooled" Oscar and I don't think anyone "hates" NOR, some of us just think he's a tosser at times but a lovable, self deprecating rogue at other times ...... anything can be taken out of context :)

    So this was Leclerc during post-quali team radio:

    " For ****'s sakes, why were the fronts-10 when I went out of the box. The fronts were not ready at all."

    (-10 meaning probably they were 10 degrees colder ???)

    Then Leclerc's post-quali interview:

    " A lack of temperature most of all. When we got out of the garage on front tires that are too cold, then you arrive at the first corner and lock up."

    "I don't know what's going on. I don't have the answer yet. The team does not have the answer yet. We need to look into this."

    ^^ recall last year when George imploded at the end. Would have been reckless for Charles to take make a risky move with little to gain. Of course his haters want to see a risky move that fails so they have something to complain about. Damned if he does or doesn't.

    I think Chuck had a solid drive. Really stinks on the qual. I'm normally a big CS fan, but last couple weekends have stunk. I can't punt him hard for last weekend, but if he didn't get so horny he may still have had a good result

    Max handled the vulgarity thing pretty well at first. Now he’s just being a bell end. Threatening to quit? Yeah, riiiiiiight…..:rolleyes:

    He's previously been, er, disappointed in how races have been 'managed', so this is just another moment that adds fuel to the fire. I'm OK with that.

    I’m not sure things could be more embarrassing for Ferrari—

    — but I’m sure they’ll try.

    Maybe Daniel joins up with Kyrgios to do a book tour about blowing your opportunities by being a jerk.

    Max threatens to quit at least a couple of times a year. I think he doesn't enjoy F1 much.

    Danny is a jerk? I haven't heard that. maybe an Ellen Degeneres situation :)

    Indeed, no comparison with Binotto.
    Jean Todt was one of the greatest team manager of all time ( winning in Rally, Dakar, endurance and numerous time with Ferrari).
    I just hope Fred will build strong foundations for our beloved Scuderia.
    I trust him ( and not because he’s French !;))

    Agreed, Oscar will be there one day, but to be together with Charles, only if we have a dominat car, we don't need both of them taking points to each other.

    Or any driver holding up another driver.

    @Top speed
    @JAM1
    @ktu

    "Unsportsmanlike" went out the window a long time ago in F1.

    Maybe the other teams should invest in a B-team? I bet IF Ferrari had a B-Team or Mclaren had a B-Team and either of them tried the same tactic using their B-Team driver as a sacrificial lamb against their rivalry then all this is trivial.

    Do you know how many people are employed at VCARB that RedBull pays? (Get rid of a B-Team?)
    Having a B-Team offers a number of advantages:

    1) Start your junior drivers and see if they are able to advance up into the A-Team.
    2) Toro-Rosso-->Honda then Honda-->RedBull....nuff said.
    3) The B-Team can hold up your rivalries or go for the fastest lap which is a very good tactic especially when it comes down to the wire...like it is currently.

    Unsportsmanlike......give me a break!:rolleyes:

    Ricciardo did nothing against the rules by obtaining the Fastest Lap in what could be his last GP.

    Consider it as a Swansong at the end of a good career.
