0454MD had the Scaglietti & C. script. Good catch for the paint chips on 0462MD ! ;)

On closer look you seem to be right, I did not dare to be sure it is a chrome text (Scaglietti & C) hence I wrote "built without, it seems", but 0446M had it placed excactly the same right under the SF-shield, so yes, let's agree 0454MD did have chrome text, but 0462MD did not.

I have the book in my hands. They only give Tullio Cerrato in a Ferrari 166 (6th in the 2.000cc class). Good luck to find which one ! :D
First overall was Eugenio Castellotti in his Lancia D24 #234, second Cesare Perdisa in his Maserati A6GCS and third Francesco Giardini with an O.S.C.A.
No mention of Musitell in 1954. He raced with 0262MM #254 in 1953.

I can confirm Buffa ran in the above 2000cc sportscar class.

Is it possible Cerrato ran the Mondial 0458 MD ?

That same day was also run the Catania-Etna.

Minzoni and Covino were announced with Ferraris (2560cc and 2000cc respectively) but they do not feature in the incomplete period results I have.
