I looked at a Rosso Corsa Cali with a black roof. Looked OK but was not my cup-of-tea. Perhaps you could wrap the top so it is easily reversible should you decide to sell.

That would be my suggestion as well, in plain gloss black.

My T has a black wrap on the top, I think it looks fine and can be removed if necessary. The sun does seem to fade black wraps, so consider it temporary

Not sure how hot it is where you live but the sun will damage the wrap over time. You will pay to put it on, pay to have it removed, there will be a bunch of screwing around to get the glue off the paint and worst case scenario it may damage the paint. When you have the top down you can’t see the roof anyway. I wouldn’t put any more money into the car, it’s a beautiful car just the way it is, I would just drive and enjoy it.

Good points, would love to hear from someone with experience how often wrap removal damages the paint. I often thought of wrapping my Grigio Sivlerstone Cali T in a bright color but never had the nerve. There was a nice matte silver(over Nero) wrapped Cali T on BAT recently that sold for a healthy discount, probably due to the wrap. I have a friend who tried to remove the PPF on the hood of their 911 and destroyed the paint. That PPF was 5+ years old, though, may be entirely different for a wrap.

    Agree!

At the most only the A-Pillars wrapped. Scratches your itch and minimizes the scope of any future wrap removal hassle (and expense).

I always discount mentally on a full-wrap car. I just assume there's paint problems underneath that the seller doesn't want to disclose.

I'm a big fan of the two tone look. Grigio wrap on my 458 Spider (looks great ten years later), Nero paint on my wife's Portofino M ($8k option from Ferrari):

Phew beautiful. There's something about red and black color combo that is so attractive.

The two-tone definitely makes the car look lower than it is. That option wouldn't apply in my case (mine is NERO black) but I do like the two tone look with red.
