How are you looking for them? Also, who did the rebuild and dyno test? Thank you

I was looking to get $10k for the entire complete suspension so it’s plug and play on your end. You can send me back your suspension for a core refund ($3200) once I confirm I can rebuild the old one. This rebuild is all done using systems from Bilstein and nobody else has the equipment for doing the piston seal. Typically when you have any of these other guys rebuild the systems (if you can find someone) they won’t have the ability to do the piston seal - so your “new shock” will continue to leak and perform poorly within a short period of time.

feel free to call up RE suspension ask them if they rebuild the piston seal - I know them well and I will bet you this set of shocks they can’t do it….

also feel free to order some new shocks from Ferrari they don’t have them since Bilstein had their issues with manufacturing lines and stopped making them. Again why don’t you prove it shoot an email try to buy a new shock let me know if you can acquire one.

    A few things here:

    1. Ferrari has re-introduced the dampers with new part numbers. 949219 (front) & 949221 (rear). Both of these are readily available through Eurospares.

    2. Or you can find some new on Ebay:

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/156308745201?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=OEcqDPUuQJe&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=eV6qWM2ISrK&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

    3. I never said RE Suspension builds them to be leak-free. They build them just like how Bilstein would build them (if you send directly to Bilstein) which doesn’t guarantee against leaks either.

Everything I’ve said about RE Suspension is documented right here-

    https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/bilstein-damper-rebuild-re-suspension.680978/

    4. PSI in Sonoma doesn’t guarantee against leaks on their rebuild either. Anyone is free to call them to confirm.

    5. The only place who offered a warranty from leaks with rebuild of the piston seal with his own proprietary method is Delta Vee. However, he didn’t “guarantee” against leaks either. He simply warrantied them if they did leak and past Fchat history shows even a few built by Delta Vee still leaked despite improvements.

    6. Delta Vee is no longer around to warranty his work, so it’s a bit of a moot point now.

    7. Are you guaranteeing/warranty-ing your work. If there is a problem, how will people find you?? Or will you simply disappear like Delta Vee?

    8. If you are Delta Vee (Rob), you owe me money.

Feel free then to go buy that brand new one install the bushings, assemble the entire suspension and install it or you can have a plug and play new. Again what’s your point of coming here to trash my for sale thread… this is really ridiculous….

Thanks for letting whomever is interested that they will spend $6k alone for taxes/shipping before you factor the time for a new assembled plug and play for what I can offer for the same price…. You really are a such a winner taking the time to come trash this thread….

You’ve made some false claims. Starting with new dampers are unavailable. Should be called out to prevent others from being bamboozled.

Perhaps you should tell us all who rebuild them so readers can confirm for themselves?

I stated that it’s impossible to get a set of 4 shocks easily after Bilstein did their manufacturing snafu. Nothing I said was inaccurate- again go try to order those assemble new ones and let’s see how much it costs you in materials and time. It’s offensive how much time you’re taking to litter a for sale post when you have 0 interest in making a purchase so how about you move along.

You really are a bored ****** and yes I did shoot some emails to see how easily to acquire a set of 4 new shocks and let’s see what comes back since you must be the master leader who knows how many shocks exist right now in the US for the F355….

Are you including new Hyperblocks with your assembly or are you simply including old dirty ones you had? Post a pic?

If someone wishes to change out to new hyperblocks, he’ll have to disassemble and reassemble. It only takes 10 min to do each one.

I’ll let the reader decide who knows what he’s talking about and who doesn’t.

I guess you forgot how to read English that these are new assemblies and yes this is America where people are free to make their own decisions - unlike your bitter self who obviously has no friends and decides to come troll on here to police people around on their for sale threads because you obviously have PTSD from DeltaV

Post pics of your upper assembly. Why do you have it covered up? Let’s see if it’s new. Or just another claim?

Your stuff isn’t new. It’s used and rebuilt.

I get it. Sellers who are trying to take advantage of buyers don’t like being called out. Ruins the scheme.

Btw. RE Suspension is an authorized Bilstein rebuilder. They are directly recommended by Bilstein as they have gone through the training.

As I said to you ShineKen the shocks were refurbished by PSI and tested and again these are full assemblies that are being sold literally at my own cost that I have into them so can you please explain what is your problem that I’m selling something here that I own and would like to sell it for literally the cost I have into it…..

PSI won’t even give you a 2 month warranty against leaks.

The design is flawed from the factory… even with brand new shocks, they can leak at 3000 miles. It’s random and owners simply deal with it.

I have 2 30k mi 355’s. One had 1 leak. The other had 3 dampers leaked. Random.

Rebuilding the piston seal doesn’t mean squat other than it’s possibly as good as a brand new damper, which isn’t great (as far as leaks go) to begin with.

… hence the reason PSI doesn’t have the balls to warranty their work. They know it’s a flawed design.

Readers. Pick-up the phone and call PSI.
