What’s with the tight-arse crappy number plate? Shorely not befitting a car for an above average wage earner?
I mucked up when I bought her ,never thought I would do the miles I do in it ,should have put it on full reg .Like I did with the 2 x Flying Spurs . Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's the stamp duty that I loath - between houses and cars state govts reel in billions, which they waste on bloated bureacracy and vanity projects, e.g. knocking down perfectly good stadiums to build another with the same capacity. It's "other people's money" and nobody cares. Any chance to get around them has to be taken, ugly plates included.
I don't have an issue with Duty on property as I'm a long term holder of property now and any in the future that come myway plus of course the capital gain tax free on your residence and the enjoyment of living in it
**** stamp duty, I just paid $20K stamp duty on the property I purchased in Mackay earlier this year. $20K here, $20K there, government cashing in to waste the money elsewhere the dogs. Would be $40K stamp duty for a $1M house here in QLD now. And there are a lot of $1M houses people are buying these days here in QLD.
Politicians are afraid to provide details of who pays stamp duty and the fact that the ordinary middle class family pays 80% of it. Big spending govts create inflation then collect more tax, while shifting the blame.
Correct -The upperend of the market tend to hold property for decades and the middleclass upgrade perhaps every 7/10 years . And YES inflation in this country is caused not by us -but by recless Government spending , particly the Labor muppets .

Isn't an SC a 3.0 Carrera with about 30hp less due to emissions control? Either way, they're neither fast or desirable. The smart money is buying up 924's
I'll just whisper in your ear so nobody else can hear.....I'm not interested at all Ian..just geeing up the Magnus lovers around here. ..............and yep the 924 in auto is the next best thing. Mind you this little abomination looks like a whole lot of fun if it drives like a RHD: https://www.carsales.com.au/cars/details/1968-porsche-911-t-manual/OAG-AD-23749727/
