Overall positive. He is clearly busy, so you have to chase him down for updates and open items. The finished product is 10/10 and exactly as discussed. Cost is very fair.
Perfect. Size and offset spot-on. The fluting on the side of the spoke to match the front of the spoke is inspired!
As I said, Dan built me two sets and the thing I most regretted about the first which I forced Dan to fix in the second — he was annoyed - was do use Ferrari lugs. I’m pretty sure he hadnt done that before. Your wheels are much better off because you used them too. I didn’t appreciate how important they are to preserving the correct look.
Awesome. Just enough of an update from stock look to look modern without looking out of place on the car. Well done.
Elegant! First I've ever seen that are actually an improvement over stock. Beautifully done. How much were they?
Thanks. Pricing here ($CDN). They can only do 18" in Aluminum (Magnesium 19"+). That said, these are no heavier than the factory wheels.
Really nice! Too bad you didn't go 19", that would have looked perfect Exactly! This is my plan: getting original spokes in a 19" wheel with step outer lip. Just need to find an affordable solution: I don't want to spend +$8000 in a set of wheels (rim+tires)
I wish 19” wheels looked ok, the tire and wheel options are just so much better. But 18s are just the right wheel size for the 348,355. IMOP
I (obviously) agree that 18s look better on the car. During this journey, I saw a comment somewhere that 19+ made a 355 look like a Hot Wheels car, and I could never shake that image. That said, I also concluded that getting the offsets right is more important than the diameter. IMO, it's a very tight window between the 'too sunken' factory fitment and too far outside. I spent countless hours trying to find the sweet spot. Wheel width plays a significant role too.
