208gt4 unknown funky color interior, help!

Hi All,

I recently bought a 208gt4 (#10206) in red with black interior, or at least it seems to have a black interior with red piping. However it runs out that the leather was dyed and I am finding a lot traces on every panel of (mint) green leather. It looks a lot like below photo.

Does anyone know what color this is or how I obtain the original colors of my car (without handing Ferrari Classsiche too much money)? Thanks!

Love the colour, you have to restore back to that!

I expect others on the forum can help directly, I know Connolly have amazing archives and are usually super helpful so would think well worth contacting.

What was the original paint color?

Hi Jack, I guess it is the same interior but i found it on Google. I am trying to figure out what the original color of the body was but it seems that it was red, with green interior but red piping... funky indeed! I saw that there is someone on this forum (is it Massimo?) who has acces to built sheets of all of these 208/308. Do you know how to reach him? Because I am very eager to now what the story about this car is. All owners are the files but no original specs (and first owner does not live anymore).

Completed 24 February 1975.
Original exterior color: Rosso Chiaro 20-R-190.
Original interior color: Nero VM 8500.
New to Crepaldi Milan and on to first owner Sole Giommaria.

The most common for the tan interior is called Saddle 3218

 

Connolly Beige VM 3218.
Italians also call it Naturale (natural).
VM stands for Vaumol.
