The prices for these oil temp sending unites have doubled over the last few years. Just a Bosch sending unite I believe. Has anyone found a suitable substitute or same part used in other applications? I need six of them hence the desire to save some $$$. AW used to have them for $61 now they are $108.

No it is Veglia. Try searching again.

Did you try google search for "Ferrari oil temperature sensor"?

Thank you. I may have found them much cheaper this way. I need to confirm if they are the same as the 328.

Very simple, go to Maranello (ferrariparts.co.uk) website and see which Ferraris use sensor 107576.

FACET 7.3006 is a "plug and play" replacement for 107576 (if you need the "long" version of this sensor).

Looks like all cars, 348 through to the 550 used two pin sensor
    148676
Later cars used the one pin
    148676

Thank you. That LOOKS like the right part. But will in "send" the right information to the gauge so the gauge reads correctly? I see facet has more than one of these that looks like the right part so I'm assuming the internal electrics could be different? I need this for a 1999 F355 as I will be inserting it in place of the drain plug in the oil sump. Thanks for the help!

It appears that you made a typing error when stating the sensor part numbers.

My 1990 Ferrari 348 parts catalogue shows only one oil temp sensor, p/n 107576, which is the 1-pin long type. Being shown in 1990, I believe that this can be considered as used on early cars.

Currently, the online catalogues (Maranello, Eurospares, Ricambi) show, in addition to the p/n 107576 1-pin sensor, the p/n 148676 2-pin sensor, not as early or late, but as a sensor valid for Australia only and 107576 as "Not for AUS" meaning valid for all other countries.

Interestingly, I went to the Facet website and they list all the car companies they supply in their catelog....except Ferrari. This of course makes cross referencing and verification that much more difficult.

I've found variations of the Facet 7.3006 and I wonder if all will work? Or if they send different electrical signals?

There are no "variations" of Facet 7.3006, it is one particular type of sender, long, 1-pin. Thomas has already confirmed (Post #5 above) that Facet 7.3006 is "plug and play".

I have measured resistances on a new original 107576 sender (Veglia, brown plastic around its terminal) as follows:
    25C.......2200 Ohm
    90C.........200 Ohm
    95C..........170 Ohm
    100C........150 Ohm

I do not have the info on the resistances of Facet 7.3006 (orange plastic around its terminal) but a member here tested it in boiling water with the oil temperature gauge connected and got a correct temperature indication:

This shows that Thomas is correct. Facet 7.3006 seems to be equivalent to the original Veglia 107576 sender.
