Went to two autopart stores and NAPA no luck. NGK site shows discontinued. Checked Rockauto and sparkplugs.com showing not available. Any Ideas ? I believe I have zero ohm extenders and tailor wires dont remember what type. TY

I've purchased NGK plugs from Amazon, and never received fakes. Also, if you can't find non-resistor, you would be fine to run BPR6ES (5k resistor). In-fact, if you don't have resistors in the extenders, then you might even be better off with resistors in the plug (not that it would make a huge difference one way or the other).

For what it's worth, I run the BP7ES.

    I have.

If its a carb car the 6 heat range has long been considered a better choice. 7's in the injected cars.

One last thing, would going over .028 be good for fatter spark or no?

No. If it is a carb engine I have found they respond well to a smaller gap. I usually use .024 but have gone as small as .020.

Strongly recommend not buying plugs off amazon or ebay. We had another recent thread with several posts about this! It isn't worth it.

Try BPR6ESIX, they are Iridium plugs, work better than BPR6es.
