Difficult to believe they will « only » deliver 300hp with three electric motors.
If true the explanation would be a layout very close compared with the 499 prototype which means one electric motor for the front axle and one for the rear.

Less electric power mean less kilograms. It looks that probably get similar ev structure as on 499P and it was amazing if it was true.

Won’t matter if it looks like the abomination in the leak photos!

LaFerrari has nothing to worry about.

Just like the 288GTO, F40 and F50 had nothing to worry about when the Enzo and LaF came out..

Performance matters. Otherwise we would be stuck in 1984 and the 400 HP of the 288...

I have never liked the Mclaren design language, but that looks very small and compact, hence light...

If that’s it… what a mess. And the hint of MP-4/22 F1 car sidepod opening… yikes. Boy racer special.

And if Ferrari’s 12 cilindri and new hypercar get criticized for too much black, what to say about this? Defenders will say it’s probably CF, but CF is still black and this is just too much random black bits.

At least Ferrari tries to innovate with original design concepts and not necessarily make a race car for the streets look. Some will call the new car ‘Scandinavian’ ;) but it will at least be fresh, and original.

Of course performance matters, but in the world of multi million $$ hypercars, performance figures alone won’t cut it.

I suspect the F250 will be considered to be more ‘race car’ looking and more track oriented. We’ll know soon….

    I know it.
And with my friend photos I had the confirm of the black visor. There is a new language where the idea is to delete the face and make something more futuristic closer to a spaceship. This new feature will arrive in next cars. Trust me ;)

Enzo took a bit to warm up tbh. But after seeing it person it made sense, and of course it has that unique growl. F40 was mind blowing bc at that time, it was just insane. 288 was just outright gorgeous. F50, again took a bit to warm up but the sound and the rawness made it appealing. Laferrari was imo, just like the 288, just outright gorgeous. And it has the amazing v12 sound.

This one, we will see. Hopefully it's like the Enzo. I can't wait to see them in person.

Does the F250 that people are seeing this weekend have a black roof?

It will definitely look ‘racy’, but it won’t be a wannabe-F1 car for the streets like this new McL or the RB17, with swirly, drooping ‘sidepods’ other trappings of ‘raciness’… big-a** rear wing excluded, LOL.

Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what other than performance and automotive technology (making this distinction because when we talk about technology, some people think of screens) matters?

Agreed but from what I have seen of the F250, I'm not inclined to think that the Ferrari flagship will be much of a looker either. We shall see. Reveal date draws nearer.

    My mistake sorry..
499 has only one electric motor ( front axle) close to 300hp.
    F250 with 900hp ( V6TT) and 1 electric motor ( 300hp).
    Plausible hypothesis ?

As Gordon Murray has very easily shown, ultimate performance is not the only factor when selling a hyper car.

That may be true, but I’m expecting Ferrari to at least release a design which is not just another derivative…

Indeed, nobody can accuse Ferrari of not being bold with their designs in recent years, for better or worse.

Yeah well, not everyone cares for Murray and his cars. He sold about 100 cars? Big deal...

That’s a hilariously immature response. But you are, of course, entitled to your view.
