The 288 is absolutely gorgeous. I spent 10mns looking at one a few weeks ago, just looking at it and couldn't stop saying wow, it's so pretty and I have seen quite a few. The proportions, the wheels, the arches..are all perfect

It is indeed a great looking car, but for me all the other 4 Ferrari flagship cars are better looking.

Sadly, I do find this response hilariously immature. I suggest you re-read my original posts in response to the McLaren W1 leak which triggered your responses and then consider whether this latest essay is in anyway relevant to what I said.

While I’m a fan of the classics, I also find these new Hypercars to be masterpieces. I’m sure in time the new batch will win people over! ;)

… as well, the door top inlet—best seen here—is going to be a key design and functional element. The way it blends into the base of the A-pillar is interesting and I expect this will be black to maintain continuity with the downstream openings, including the NACA shaped opening for the air box:

There is a lot more to see on top of the basic shape we see. these images I have posted before clearly highlight this. These detail make a huge difference to all the renders. Yes lots of renders have the base shape SFW thats not what makes the car its the complete package with all those important details.

The only thing—besides what I mentioned above—you’ll get with the reveal are the glam shots of the car from many different angles but all the details—right down to the reflectors on the edge of the diffuser—have been revealed already.

The interior and detailed specs—including flow-through aero at the front, active aero, and likely 3D printed suspension components, etc.—will be the newsworthy items.

Neither. I am 6 ft tall, and an amateur boxer, so basically heavily built (even though I have a beer gut now). How about you, chappy?

Broken record you have been saying this for so long yet so much more has been seen since you started that record months ago.

812 omolagata is better looking than both imho. Enzo is nice when it is moving but some angles are not that good. Like some people say, striking but not pretty.

Classic well proportioned 80s design. It looks pure compared to its rivals

Broken record, LOL! You’re still seeing ‘panels’ and imaging hallucinatory details when, in fact, the cars have been circulating for months with just a camo wrap. I think you’re in for a big disappointment expecting more “details” to be revealed. WYSIWYG.

The basic yellow render is lacking many of the obvious details, correct shape and presences that are clearly visible on the prototypes / mutes etc. Much like the render of the XX it was the basic car but the final product looked hell of alot better with all the correct details and angles etc. I don't know what you do for a career, I have work across multiple industries over the last 30 plus years on that journey I achieved an A level Masters in Design. So I am more than qualified to know what I am looking at and understand what I see. I don't know what the full final car looks like at this point. But I do have a pretty clear vision in my head. The render is nothing more that a very basic shape with a few basic details.

THE DEVIL IS IN THE DETAIL

Unfortunately, I ain't anywhere near as tall as you. I'm 5.8, which is suppose comes with its advantages for owning a supercar, I have no problem fitting in.

I understand what you mean, which is the thing I always tell my friend Derek when he asks me to try and render a car. Not knowing exactly how the components and details are made, it is very difficult to give the right expression and the right cut to the shapes. I understand very well what you are saying. Often it is enough to move a line by a centimeter and the result changes in a surprising way.
I'll mention the 12Cilindri for example: now that I see it in every detail everything has fallen into place. Beautiful as ever. I saw it live in Maranello and the details really made the difference. The black visor, the choice of glossy and matt finishes. Chromed or porous surfaces. You just have to be patient a little.
For the 250 headlight band I noticed that it has a curved surface that reflects the light in a particular way and the lights are fused with black. There are small ribs...

Thank you. You did a much better job of saying/ showing what I meant. Totally agree on the 12c too, In fact even Ferrari's own renders have their short comings.

    Thoughts about power unit :
    V6TT alone around 800hp
MGUH derived from F1 around 100hp.

Power unit output combined around 900 hp.
Front electrified axle derived from WEC around 300hp.
    Total 1200hp.

Yes it does and I'm not very happy about it. For the rest I do like the car. Very impressive technology pack. Butterfly doors, very narrow interior but I really like it. New brakes, new suspension. Very fast.
