Beautiful! It's been seen in Monte Carlo Monaco and Muscat Oman where the image above was taken, and where It's believed the same owner has this 599XX Evo. Image Unavailable, Please Login

I was wondering why the number ZH 599 was not available anymore, I happy thought it’s on the right car Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Images of our GTO adventures are on our Instagram, we have too many to upload there but will share here from time to time. Unfortunately the FChat medium makes the images low-resolution but you get the idea. Thanks to everyone contributing to this thread, especially @joe sackey I joined FerrariChat to... chat about the 599 GTO. When it came out I didn't pay too much attention to it. I had already moved on from a job as automotive journalist, and the editor-in-chief of the magazine I had wanted to work for (but it would have taken years to get a job there) was raving on about it and I guess that made me jealous and dismiss the actual car or something. Either way, recently, watching FXX videos and seeing the 599XX, and playing Forza Horizon 4, my interest in the 599 GTO got renewed, and I started looking into this car and became very charmed by it indeed. I think the design aged particularly well, since most cars that came after it have huge headlights and grilles, which I'm not a fan of. So the modest lights and grille on the 599 look better than ever to me. I soon noticed the thin and thick spoke wheels, and google pointed me to this thread: 599 GTO Y spoke wheels | FerrariChat I also really prefer the thin spoke wheels. I'm not at risk of ever owning a 599 GTO, but the newer wheels could even be a deal-breaker for me. Someone put the change here: I'm guessing with things like Exclusive Car Registry we could pintpoint it more accurately, I will have a go at it soon. Speaking of registries, there is also a Dutch Ferrari registry, and they have a list of all the cars that have been road registered or for sale in The Netherlands: 599 GTO | Ferrari - Lamborghini Register Nederland (ferrari-register.nl) I love seeing all the different specs on these cars, and I would have a very hard time picking one if I were to win the lottery. I did go and check out some of the ones currently accessible here. There's the black 179436 posted before in this thread at the Metropole Car Museum (thick spokes), with exposed carbon side skirts, and perhaps my favorite seat specification, the non-electric seats with black alcantara center and black leather sides, with white stitching including GTO stitching in the headrest (which is pretty rare I think). I would have added a white rev counter myself, but I guess the yellow one goes nicely with the yellow logo on the steering wheel. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login As mentioned before, they look like the BBS FI wheels (which turned into the FI-R), and the current RI-D shown here. Perhaps they even make them in the right size, I don't know. Image Unavailable, Please Login The images I posted won't last long by the way, but it's a free upload service so I can't complain. To be continued!
599 cars (plus a few extra) is rare enough, but if you would spend 1 minute looking at the spec of each car, you'd still be busy for 10 hours! One of the major players for exclusive cars right now in The Netherlands is Bernards Exclusives, who regularly sell low mileage 599 GTOs. They still have a white one, and sold two others recently. Image Unavailable, Please Login Another one they sold in the past is the peculiar 599 GTO Zanasi Edizione with custom brown interior and brown carbon everything. It is no longer on their website, but you can see the listing and photos here: Ferrari 599 GTO - Bernards Exclusives B.V. - Netherlands - For sale on LuxuryPulse.
A video that I don't think has been posted here yet is the one by The Car Guys. I can watch it every day and not get bored! And as you know there is no shortage of 599 GTOs in Monaco! One of the (Swiss) owners is a real dandy (4:06), and his car is fitted with the XX aero package. A bit more controversial perhaps is this video of a GTO driver with some young ladies in Monaco.
I grew up with 16-bit videogames in my early teens, and games like Need For Speed 3 and 4 in my late teens, so modern computer game graphics blow me away. The cars in Forza Horizon 4 look amazing, with extraordinary details. I made a video for the 599 GTO, looking at the exterior and interior and the different color options, some of which you might not expect!
