    From Hockenheim?

The car was tested by Sport Auto at the Nordschleife with a crew from Ferrari present before the Hockhenheim test. The post I linked shows a clip from onboard at the Dottinger straight.

My bad, I didn't realize you were referring to the 'Ring. Not sure why they haven't released that lap time and video.

Interesting! Maybe Sportauto simply wants to milk the story a bit longer. They released the story about the hockenheim lap in july. Maybe we see a second part or the real „Supertest“ later this year.
Or the SF90 has suffered from the problem many hybrids do have on the ring – not enough battery power for one full lap …

6 months in the news value of the story is all but gone.

I heard the AMG One lap was improved by actually coasting to charge the hybrid system in certain sections. Let’s say the XX was faster than the old One lap time, Ferrari at this case then lost the opportunity to claim fastest lap time for a good few months.

I suspect Italian spaghetti politics embargoing the time. It has been all but quiet about the Nürburgring visit except from Gebhardt’s private IG.

Interestingly the AMG one was faster at the Döttinger Höhe on the first attempt: 338 to 325. Maybe the battery power was lower at the end of the faster lap.

Speaking of the AMG, it‘s funny, that the AMG One is kind of an illegitimate brother to the F250: V6 Hybrid, engine and gearbox as stressed members, heavy racing influence. And also the overall aero concept with the huge wing in the back.
I hope the F250 will be a bit more refined.

A friend of mine is at the event today. Sent me some specs:

    900 hp ICE
    300 hp EV

    As expected it’s a V6 with 3x motors

    1000 kg quoted downforce at 250 km/h
    0-100 km/h 2.1 seconds

New suspension system developed from the Purosangue

New steering wheel with physical buttons

F1 style seating position, very driver focused with offset passenger seating

For the sake of this thread; car does indeed have the 12C black strip between the headlights

Lot of technology in this car but physical buttons sound good. In terms of weight, I think it’s 1500 kgs

The interior has a molded seat for the driver, the passenger seat is slight to the rear of the driver seat. From described the steering wheel looks like a LaFerrari wheel molded with the newer gen is the best way I can put it.

Any idea on updated graphics for the instrument cluster? It must be unique for a halo car, just like the Laferrari

Can you tell if there will be any progress in terms of sound?

Turbos usually mute the sound of the car, as the exhaust gases are used to spin the turbines.

Ferrari has had a patent for electric turbos for a few years now, and this technology allows the turbines to spin with electricity, and no longer requires exhaust gases. This means that these exhaust gases can be directed to improve the sound.

Yes I remember when they patented this technology. They were the first manufacturer to do so. Let’s hope that piccolo engine sings
