Welcome to California. Let me know if the tour will visit Alice's Restaurant in the Redwoods of Woodside, just north of Santa Cruz. Perhaps we can meet up there. I believe that the tour has stopped there before? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lunch on Wednesday will be at Scopazzi’s Restaurant in Boulder Creek, which is 28 miles south of Alice’s Ivan

My 1967 Mistral was invited to be shown at the annual Concours here in southern Oregon last Sunday. There were only three Italian cars present, a Ferrari 458, a Lambo Gallardo and my Mistral. Most spectators had never seen a vintage Maserati before and were amazed at all the spark plugs in the inline 6. Of course they initially thought it was a 12 cylinder engine.

Very nice. I had to look up that Vaumol leather code. Ochre must look great with the dark blue. Were folding seats only an option on the 3500? M
I broke my leg rather spectacularly at the snow in late August (chopper rescue, big surgery etc etc), so have been unable to drive the Mexico for almost 4 months while it sadly gathered dust and spider webs. Finally have enough strength and coordination back in my left leg to push the clutch… so today I gave it a good wash and a nice run. Only issue was that after I stopped, I couldn’t start again as the battery is cooked. A nice man gave me a push start and I managed to get home. Remi Image Unavailable, Please Login

Rennovation Update: 2/28/2025 New exhaust system, new shocks, carbs cleaned, both fuel pumps replaced and all new gas hoses. New leather interior and seat covers installed and mouse fur dashtop and center console replaced with same color leather. 33 pieces of bordered carpet being cut now, will cover the new Dynamat heat/sound insulation I installed. New headlights, new bulbs. Removed, cleaned and repainted the radiatorand changed out all the water hoses under the hood. Five new Pirelli vintage Cinturato CN12 tires mounted and balanced on the five original Boranni wire wheels rechromed at Dayton Wheel. Original 8-sided center caps replaced with new, two-winged spinners. WOW! Replaced original Veglia clock with VDO electronic unit ($50 shipped on eBay) and used a 52mm to 60mm adjustment spacer from eBay ($16.82 shipped) to fill the opeing in the dash. Repaired previous rust repairs around the trunk lid and installed a new rubber seal. Lots of things left to do. Celebrated by buying a new Maserati shirt, hat and jacket. Learning the Italian Ianguage word by word, as I decipher the parts and service manuals. Seldom in my life have I ever been this proud to restore, own and drive a classic car. Priceless.
