    I have it on good authority (my thumb) that it will be called La Gomma Bruciata.

    It is entirely clear the chosen name is F80. And by a "surprise", customers will pick the same name.

    Oh yes, and at the time of the LAF there were V12s in F1 !!! ???
    Love the car all if you want, but keep at least some realism please, it does not suppress enthusiasm.
    This car has a V6 because it's cheaper to recycle than to make a new V12 hybrid engine... Everything else is self-justification.

    I don’t think this is a fair assessment of the situation. I’m sure Ferrari could have made this a V12 and still included CF chassis, flow-thru aero at the front, 3D printed suspension, etc., etc. but… just like Ferrari wasn’t competitive in F1 in the ‘90s with a V12 that, despite promises of huge power, never really delivered because it was too big, too thirsty and required too much cooling… a V12 is not really the best solution and doesn’t make for a good compromise for overall performance.

    If, on the order hand, you what to build a car for maximum performance capability, you need a compact engine with high power density that will benefit the overall performance by being compact and thermally efficient—allowing aero freedom and efficiency—that is lightweight, and with a low CG and inertia. Add to this electric turbo and electronic control systems and you have the best performing car possible, especially if regulated by emissions standards and not just racing rules.

    Is this as alluring or romantic as a V12-powered car? No, but if buyers want performance and numbers to brag about, they’ll get those with this car.

    Valkyrie is not performing well enough??? In fact, it is just better and we must be honest enough to admit it.
    After that, external romanticism is good, but internal romanticism is more pragmatic and just motivated by the maximum margin,and that's a fact ... Let's stop telling ourselves stories... which does not prevent you from loving the car, everyone is free to make their own choices.

    Maybe a good guess at the nose but too many other details wrong.

    I don’t really care personally because I’m not buying any of these cars but if I had to drive a Valkyrie on the road with earmuffs on, feet in the air, and like looking out of a turret window slot, I wouldn’t be impressed by the performance of that car.

    Also, the engine is basically a racing engine, so I hope the performance is good— not sure many buyers will like the maintenance costs though. But that’s just me, what do I know. ;)

    Outer diffuser is not really working as a diffuser for the exit of the underfloor flow as it’s essentially behind the tire. It appears to be a meshed cooling flow exit…

    Ferrari has never named a car after a driver, even the great MS, and for a good reason. That would elevate a driver to a status equal to that of the company and no employee is as important as Ferrari itself, as per Enzo's decree. Ferrari cars have only been named after the Ferrari family numbers. I guess that after Piero's death there will be a Ferrari Piero. In all honesty, only Italians can pull something like that. Imagine McLaren naming a car "Peter". :D

    That doesn't mean that they will name the car based on the survey. More like a game for the clients, to pass their time.

    Why not? They are nice sounding names (as long as you pronounce the second one as Drak-eh). A name doesn't need to mean something, even thought the "LaRossa" plays nicely with the archetypical Ferrari - Italian racing - colour. Also the F-something has been beaten to death. It makes sense for F1 cars (i.e. the F2000, F2001, F2002, F2003, F2004, F2005) as it denotes the year of the racer. Makes much less sense for road cars, as it is not even the 80th birthday of the company, which admittedly also stood true about the F50 and that always bothered me a bit. Now the F360 and F430 are different, as the names refer to engine configurations.

    Not a V12, but a high-revving N/A engine, which is the whole point of linking racing with road cars.

    To be fair though, Ferrari V12s were usually the quickest on fast circuits (that memorable Berger win in 1994 Hockenheim comes to mind), where top end power is paramount. Reliability and bad chassis failed them though; their retirement ratio was abhorrent. As Prost put it (and got the sack), they drove like a truck... On the other hand, when Schumacher drove the 1994 412 T2, was shocked by the power and expressed his amazement that this immensely powerful and sweet handling car didn't win the Championship. There seemed to be more things wrong within the Scuderia back then, than just the car.

    As an ex Armoured Officer, I wouldn't have it any other way. So many nice memories. Not that I could ever afford an F250.. :D

    Renderer created probably from SF90XX, like bonnet or mirros also RHD, carbon regular wheels and other... nope, this is not real F250

    Only Honda managed to win a championship with a V12 in 1991 because they wanted to succeed where Ferrari failed since 1989..
    They quickly realized a shorter, lighter engine like their former V10 was a better solution as a compromise ..
    However they had already decided to leave F1 at the end of 1992.
    So no big stories for them.
    We all love V12 and with the collapsing of the current ideology about EV, I am not so sure Ferrari won’t build a brand new one in a medium term.

    I guess you are forgetting all previous Ferrari Championship victories with V12s.

    40 = quaranta
    50 = cinquanta
    60 = sessanta
    70 = settanta
    80 = ottanta

    I can see why they skipped F60 an F70 from the international point of view. F40 and F50 are pronounciation wise the most exotic sounding. F80 would have nice reference to possibly last halo car with an Otto engine.

    Aren’t the carbon wheels 5 spoke with painted outer rim?

    Almost all renders miss this and which I think is a novel and important feature detail. Repost, but what I think it’ll look like…
