Let's see, the "E-building" is already being marketed as a production building for hybrid and series production cars, not only EV.

Commercially it will perform being the first-mover product. We don't know the success of the EV before a few models exist, and how they retain residuals and order pipelines. Poor residuals and rapid advances in EV performance antiquate cars and cannibalize the segment.

« Few models »= science fiction right now.
If first model is a catastrophic one they won’t be another one believe me.
    Too costly.

There is nothing wrong with profitability, on the contrary, except when it is done to the detriment of the customer, which is the case with this car.
Realistically, if it wasn't for the badge, I think any other brand wouldn't be able to sell 200 copies... So validating a car just for the badge, I find it a bit sad, and I think we're playing against our own side
The choice of the V6 is purely economical, and I can assure you of that! If you are told otherwise, it's marketing, nothing more.
Building a new V12 of the same type as the Cosworth is expensive, and since everything sells effortlessly, it's easier to let marketing justify the V6.
At all levels, whether in research and development or emotional aspect, the Valkyrie is clearly superior to the F250.
And if we're honest and Ferrari had released the Valkyrie, the whole mode would have cheered for it until the end of the night. That someone explains the opposite to me, telling me that he prefers a 296 twin-turbo V6 rather than a V12 that can take almost 12000 rpm !!!
Don't count on me to legitimize at all costs what Ferrari is doing for the sake of economy

Let people cheer for what they want, you still have the Aston Martin to cheer for. Mr. Stroll will welcome you with pleasure, they need customers.

What a hit for Manzoni. Top Gear video from the 12Cilindri launch quoting Manzoni:
"He (Manzoni) also insists that the interior, all the touch sensitive stuff is great (and) needs to carry on. It makes it so minimalist". Glad to hear the adults at the factory are taking action - even if it might not please Manzoni.

From what I understand there are currently two models greenlit; the crossover, and after some trepidation, an electric 4 seater GT hypercar (closest similar thing would be a Koenigsegg Gemera).

You are correct on all points and it’s obvious anyone with an F250 allocation is paying a massive brand premium. That the company does products based on economics should be obvious to anyone. For instance, the screens used for the dashboard and infotainment cost something like €5 to produce, they are ridiculously cheap.

Valkyrie is a unique car but only makes sense from a brand who has no established product portfolio in the segment and doesn’t make its own engines.

That's why that SUV should be called elkann e1 instead of a ferrari. If they want an EV they should sell it as a different brand so when it fails the Ferrari brand name will not be stained by this abomination iphone with 4 wheels

I think this car may mark the closure of Manzoni’s cycle at Ferrari. Or if not thia then perhaps the EV.

Not a comment on how it looks, BTW, I just think Manzoni has been there long enough and it is time for a change.

So, what do you think about the McLarens P1 and W1? Or for the F40, for that matter. Are they are not worthy either, because they have "recycled" turbo engines?

McLaren makes me cold with the exception of Murray's F1...
Concerning the F40, I invite you to watch this video.
Personally, I've always preferred the F50...
They had a year to make the car, a far cry from the 7 years of F250

At no time did I think this is a cheapskate car. The engine installation, lightweight hybrid components (all new) and carbon monocoque (also new), plus all the other spec elements made me feel that a lot of effort has gone into this. The only other car that feels like as much care has been taken is the Tourbillon. The latest Pagani and Koenigsegg are worthy mentions but the Ferrari and Bugatti are on a level by themselves in this regard, it seems to me.

Is the engine attached to the chassis in the same way as the 499p? Or have you answered that and I didn’t see that in the forum
