TTR does not have a site ban, he is still around here. He has a thread ban of 3 months. Trolling is the perfect description. I have put him, VanGool and Swift53 on the ignore. No need to read these troll posts imho.

 

We're cognizant of TTR's behavior also, and he was sanctioned in this recent incident with a 3 month thread ban for his part. The disparity in ban terms and types has to do with the prior moderation history of each. TTR is still on page 1 of his log, miurasv is now on page 13. We escalate sanctions in proportion to the number of prior incidents, as you well know.

 

Dude has a thin skin. Frankly, I understand why. Glickenhaus at one point threatened to sue me. That tends to change your perception. My two cents is this thread should be locked. If someone comes up with new objective information, it can always be opened.

Rob said he will leave it open as it is likely the most complete history and discussion of the car in existence. Every once in a while something interesting is posted but seems odd for folks especially mods to dredge the stupid stuff back up. I enjoy the pictures of the old frames and bodies. Its amazing how fragile and poorly designed they are compared to modern standards.

 

Personally, I agree, but anything new (difficult), ought to be posted with a purpose, and saving snide or undue remarks to be sent via PM only.

I think enough slinging has been seen. I am done with this parrying, and if you care to post personal offensive comments / corrections / spanking, etc.
please send them to me, and kindly do not make them public.

In that case, I hold the right to reply or not.

Excuse me for being a cynic. But volume of posts increases advertising revenue. No reason to close down an ever giving thread even when if it is long past its sell by date. Just look at how many posts just for Steve's ban.

 

If 99.9 percent of income to F-Chat isn't generated from "traffic" then what is 99.9 percent of your revenue is generated from?

I get it Airhead, the "experts" lash out and resort to calling anyone a troll that asks a question that doesn't conveniently fit their narrative, and you are one of those bullies.

Your posting the Glikenhaus pit photo really summarizes the consternation in this thread. There are those who fully appreciate (in part or whole) Jim’s Motorsport efforts, his *other* cars, and even his friendship or personality. Still they’re able to separate all of those things from the DP003/0846 replica story. There are also those who cannot.
