i need help from you guys in Florida. my son in law shipped some of his furniture and clothes to London earlier this year, since that is where they live now. the shipping company (Shippingmygoods.com ) has not delivered, and has stopped responding to their inquiries. it has been about 6 months now. i think that since it was a small amount that they were looking to pair it up with other shipments to make economic sense of it, and that this takes longer. but 6 months is a long time and they have stopped responding. so, my daughter, who is a lawyer, is asking if i can find her a lawyer in the Miami/FTL area who she can contact in order to chase this down. would any of you have somebody to recommend in this instance?
I can make a couple calls to some local attorneys here on the Gulf Coast, or my SIL who lives in Miami, but this feels pretty specialized unless you just want someone to saber rattle legalese at them. D
While troubling, what is the value of the shipment, and is it worth litigating over? Maybe call a news outlet first?
