Has anyone had their car converted to a three pedal by GTE engineering in New Jersey? They seems pretty reputable from their work on developing PEGA clutches and what people have said on here about misc things they have had done by them. They seem to know their way around automated single clutch set ups pretty well, but I haven't see much from people who say they've had a car converted by them. Their pricing seems competitive for doing the transmission off brake fluid style conversion and clutch replacement. I also am unclear if they developed their own kit or are using a set up derived from the Dr. S kit.

Their site is a bit confusing. They say:

We are in contact with all Gated conversion kit manufactures, including with software and hardware Developers to serve our industry with the utmost trustworthy and best quality out there.

    But also say:

We manufacture Gated Conversion Kits to convert Ferrari & Lamborghini cars from automatic F1 or E-Gear to gated manual 6 speed with a clutch pedal.

They borrowed some pictures from Dr. S so I'm hoping they work with them (or asked for the photos) but the others didn't look familiar.

Between $8k-20k depending on transmission in or out version. At least that’s what I’ve seen when researching mine.

I’d second those prices are about the ball park I’m looking at. About 20k all in installed with parts for transmission in.

I guess for a little more context I’m mostly interested in the Dr. S kit, but I’m exploring alternatives, because it looks like they where in the direct path of Milton, which hadn’t really occurred to me until I tried to reach out to them earlier this week and hadn’t heard anything back.

I’m hoping all is well with them and I’d like to help them out because people have nothing but good things to say about that set up. I’m hoping that the people, their families, homes etc are all okay and they just have more important things to worry about at the moment. Basically Dr S is plan A, but I’d like to source a plan B if I can’t reach them or they’ll be unable to resume operations in the next year.

    Hello Justin and all,

GTE Engineering is one of our installers which is installing our Cambio Manuale (Dr S) https://CambioManuale.com/ kits.

We also have a large number of other installers in USA in case someone is looking for an installer closer to their location. Please contact me for details.

@joakes90 I hope you have received my reply by now, please check the spam folder if you don't see it.

Indeed we have been kit by both Helene and Milton, with Helene being much worse actually due to the flooding and resulting damages. Maybe it's not obvious to all, but our hurricanes rotate counterclockwise, so the largest damage on FL West Coast is not where the hurricane hits (like Milton) but a bit south of it (like Helene) AFTER it passes, as the tail pushes all the water towards the land creating large surge. So the last 2-3 weeks have been100% dealing with the hurricanes and only this week we are returning to work.

Awesome to see you're doing alright. I got your email yesterday. I'm contacting my potential local installers today to see if they're up for taking the job and to put together a strategy. I'll probably commit to buying the kit by the end of the week once I hear back and have a game plan in place.

Some shops are afraid to try something they have not done before, so just explain to them that the conversion process (with some minor deviations) uses factory-like parts and simply follows two factory procedures. It is documented in Ferrari shop manuals, plus they get additional detailed instructions with the Cambio Manuale kit:

    1) Removal of all F1 gear shifting parts
    2) Installation of all manual shifting parts
