GMA lauda might keep up. Well under 2000 lbs and sequential gearbox. I assume Gordon knows how to get a fast lap time when he wants to. Its not street legal but who's driving any of these on street anyway?
I was told by someone in the know that it is 8M€. The client track day car version is a lot cheaper....if that word can be used for such numbers;-)
I actually like it. Having said that, it looks exactly how I (and most of us) expected it would after seeing so many pictures of the thinly disguised test cars. There were no surprises this afternoon when the press pictures surfaced. We've known for a long time that it would have a V6 so I can't understand why some people here are distraught over it today? I have no doubt that it will grow on people. I'm also relieved that they called it the F80 and not LaRossa or something even worse.
By me is F80 best Ferrari of all time but also best car on the world of all time. I like it in everyone aspect. Of course it is just my opinion and everyone can choose own. Truly aslo very happy that Ferrari also add F80 to public configurator...but do I cant wait when will see in weekend pictures from Imola, later customers cars and truly I cant wait when in next few years will see F80 live.
Just read will weigh 3500 lbs. Not impressed at all. Wish someone would take GMA t50 and rebody it with shape that compliments its exotic drivetrain
It is the car with the highest price in dollars per cylinder in history: $4M / 6 = $666,666.66 dollars per cylinder.
So Sell out? My man this is nothing but a Ferrari publicity stunt. Don't get me wrong I love Ferrari's past I have a couple of cars. But these cars are already sold, they have far more than 799 people willing to buy one. All of this is for the after market buyers and collectors who can't get one right now.
I really loved the car. The sharp lines, even if I can see just a few only from my screen, and the presence of the car. It looks absolutely proper in my humble opinion. I would prefer an aggressive, aero-rich design rather than a curvy beauty. Regarding the engine, there is nothing wrong with using an established, victorious V6 that sounds like the current Ferrari V12 which is almost at its best form and has not much room for improvement.
Honestly I'm really disappointed. Love Ferrari but this looks like someone put this together with legos. I won't bash it until I see it in person because a lot of Ferraris look HORRIFIC in photos but the car is gorgeous in person. Right now this doesn't look like it will age well. The Daytona SP3 is far more beautiful it just jumps right off at you in photos.
Bravo Ferrari - again, a true supercar with top tech derived from the best racing series: F1 + WEC.... evidenced with racing successes. Also, Kudos in applying a new design language rather the 60's retro style - clear, functional, simple....forward looking....SciFi. In general, I like the clear positioning of the overall F car portfolio...no longer, small versus big. The range is complementary showing a clear purpose for each model. I am happy as a client and happy as an investor.
Is there any chance that the inevitable F80 Aperta can save or radically improve on the design of the coupe? Bring on the F80 Aperta digital renderings! F80 Aperta: Debut end of 2026 with production to start after end of F80 production at the end of 2027 /beginning of 2028? Limited to production run up to 599? Almost 5M cost? Nominal design changes that will hopefully fix some of the perceived flaws mentioned in this forum? Obviously I know nothing and don’t have any insider access as a nobody in the Ferrari world just spitballing.
Absolutely love it!! The only problem it’s a 6 cylinder. As for the design reminds me of the F40 and F50. Very aggressive looking and represents the latest technology of Ferrari. I do like it better than the W1 which looks too much like the 750 and 765lt. That’s not a bad thing but just doesn’t look special like the F80 does
By popular vote let's baptise it the Lego The factory accepted the public 's Daytona nickname for another model long ago so...
I think it looks neat do you guys think that people who don't own any of its predecessors got one since its 799 of these are made
looking at youtube comments people are already calling it the lego car and the reception to the styling is extremely negative (more so than I expected)
