When sp3 photos were released.. Many people said It's the worst Ferrari ever.. Even to me at first sight it looked so odd..so weird.. I was also disappointed.. But it looks beautiful to me now..and many consider it is one of the most beautiful modern Ferrari s ever made.. F80 is a striking design... But the black front part.. Can someone have it with body colored? Or have a painted roof?
It's an incredible piece of engineering and technology. I understand people's criticisms but I think you have to understand that these things are really about pushing the limits of technical possibility. Ferrari could have just called it a day on technological improvement many years ago if the goal was simply to make pretty cars that most drivers can handle. Then what? What's the raison d'être of the company? The engine, suspension, aero, chassis, etc are all really technical marvels in this machine. I can only imagine what this monster would be like to drive at full blast. Those that do will be lucky people. Looks are subjective. Some elements I like, some are not very good. Not an immediate stunner like LaF was, that's for sure. I suspect it will look a lot more impressive in person. The one thing I think is odd is the lack of styling cues from the 499P. If you're going to lean on the powertrain, why not the aesthetics of what is a much prettier racing machine?
I disliked the SP3 when it came out but have to admit this makes it look better and makes the la ferrari look like a masterpiece
How many owners are going to run around any track with a €3.6 m car!!? For 250 000 you can get real fun with a 488 gt3 evolution. And for €3.8 m you can get a real v16 with 1800 hp and real hand made interior: bugatti tourbillon! So, pure speculation.

Agree, they should take it to the Ring and show what it can do,on paper it should demolish the AMG-One/W.
Those that were qued in on 288 GTO were those in the know. Now every 11 year old with a phone has a voice. In the 80s that voice never been heard. The 288 was then like not loved after that and when people started replicating it with a 308 it took off some luster.
From a business point of view, it was only logical (predictable) that the power plant was derived from Le Man's 499P. Get some stock boost - that's all that matters to many now.
Which begs is the question, are we better off today with millions of voices about any given design/art/car/etc.? Are these voices influencing other peoples opinions? It’s interesting
If any dissatisfied customers would like to transfer me their place in line for this terrible machine, I would be willing to grudgingly accept their spot.
I do like the rear. A bit of Vette in it but that’s ok. Can’t wait to see it next to the other Ferrari super cars. Get a better idea of proportions.
A frame with a watch inside... IMO Ferrari should start a collaboration with Ulysse Nardin. Extreme, Innovative, Divisive.
Anyone have any good white on blue renders? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
The guy presenting Carwow is completely overexcited and dumb most of the time. When showing the Tourbillon he seemed really on drugs..
Saw the post about Ferraris patent for electric turbos a year or so back in FChat Fantastic to see the introduction of that tech with this car! Cant wait to see that trickle down to the rest of the cars. It will need to happen soon because of the upcoming end of ICE in Europe and other world markets I really like the design. And I'm also sure that a move back to curves will happen Ferrari is moving forward with the futuristic F80
What I find fascinating here is that very very few people are talking about how porky it is. Real world weight, with fluids will be 3800lbs (1725kg+) maybe more. After that, so many comments about future value seems to be missing the point of what a car is. What has happened to you guys?? 3800lbs, v6, at $4m, and not terribly beautiful. That's progress after 12 years? I don't know ANYONE who likes the sound of a modern F1 car, or thinks 800kg for an F1 car is acceptable. So that's a terrible comparison to draw from. Give me a v10 engine in a car that weighs under 600kg and doesn't look like an abomination. GMA and T.50 got it right and time will show this versus Ferrari (value wise) as it did with the original F1. I'm sure all 1000 owners of the 799 'allocations' will be happy though, as long as they never drive it and it appreciates. Welcome to Ferrari World. The best part is, you have to kiss the ring for that privilege. I own multiple Ferrari's...but done playing 'the game.' W1 will be WAY MORE visceral and fun to drive IMHO.
