So just cause the F80 doesen’t have a cast aluminium/leather steering wheel it makes it a mass produced Toyota Yaris?

Some supercar manufacturers build state of the art engines and others build fancy steering wheels. Priorities...

No, just makes it look a step back in design compared to the Pagani Imo.

F80 has 65% larger battery than W1 and MGU-H to load it.

pagani ,for me , went downhill since zonda with each new model.
I don't want to state my opinion on utopia in respect to her owners.
But surely think it's not the best example when one want to measure beauty.

F80 vs W1 battle reminds me of the classic F50 vs F1 duel. F1 had the upper hand on performance, but then again, F50 had something special with higher revving F1 derived 5-valve/cylinder engine and open top.

While McLaren again has the upper hand in power to weight, this time Ferrari is much better prepared with the overwhelming technical details.

This will be a epic fight! :)

Doubt that many , if any, will argue the pure beauty in above.
Then some will add some other,
me personally Roma, some will 812 Sp3.
    So credit where due.
Then he started to do some highly controversial and polarizing cars, and it's just getting more with every new car.
    I personally remeber #️⃣ Allegriout.
Wouldn't mind using # for FM, because I think it is time to change.

I really doubt that w1 will match performance let alone surpass f80.
F80, because it's 4wd, will always win acceleration, and having more downforce will be faster in corners.
Also thing that electric motors in F80 are stronger than w1 in reality, and that v6 is better than v8even if on paper it has 30 or so, more hp.
Also highly doubt it is nearly as ready for production as F80 is.

I think it will depend on the circuit. I love the F80 and the fact that it and the W1 have taken such different approaches.

No body roll etc though cornering with an E motor on each wheel controlling ride Hight and movement should give better cornering and stability at speed and in braking.

Were you a fan of the F40? A Ferrari is meant to be driven on a track, and although many owners drive it on open roads, my first experience was on a track. A F430 to be exact. By the 3rd lap, the engine was screaming down the corner, and the instructor told me to ease up on the gas next lap, but I was hooked. I just wanted to drive the car to experience what a Ferrari was like and did not expect to feel the rush.

Long story short, when I first saw the F40, it was coming down the street into a car meet, engine roaring, gear shifting into first. It was wide, obscene, and thrilling. The owner grinning ear to ear. He had that crazed look on his face getting out, the type when someone buys their first big engine mod and is looking for trouble. Mind you, the Enzo was out at the time 2 years before the LaF. But the F40's design just stuck to me, just like the F80. It commands attention and respect!

I agree with you that Manzoni’s body of work is tremendous and the man is a genius.

Add the Purosangue to the list of heroic designs.

With that being said, his design direction lately is far too restrained and dare I say boring for each car given the mission statement even the F80 and especially the 12 C.

If he doesn’t get away from this design priority of restraint I believe you will start to see Ferrari sales faltering and then his position at the company will be in jeopardy.
