Roma Spider

On a separate note, I see 2 Roma Spyders for sale in the UK. One is 225k GBP (other is 272k GBP). The lower priced one seems highly optioned. Is that price surprising? Seems likely under sticker if base price in UK is 210k GBP?

 

who cares about UK prices? they are utterly irrelevant to the US market. with the absolute apathy in the UK for Ferrari I would not be surprised to see the allocations throttled back significantly as I have posted previously.

 

Picked up my Roma Spider yesterday. Really nice!

Has anyone had electronics glitches on the Roma/Roma spider? Yesterday the camera refused to turn off and remained on for my ride home at 40-50 mph

 

I’ve had a few temporary glitches.

Passenger display didn’t start up a few times. Power cycle, lock unlock, fixed.

Phone didn’t connect as CarPlay, but did as Bluetooth, twice. Solved by deleting the phone and repairing.

Main dash wouldn’t start up and couldn't be interacted with once. Lock and leave for 10 mins to resolve.

All on latest software.

F isn’t alone with such type of glitches.

 

Yeah! Traced it to my front license plate holder from carbonio. It was a clip on and put the license plate in the line of the front sensors so the sensors thought something was in front of the car! Combined with the setting for automatic turn on of the sensors at low speed it would occasionally confuse the system and do this.

Fix was to turn off the automatic setting for parking. Then I also rejiggered the license plate holder to make it less in the sensors path. The dealer may have updated the software as well but my recollection was it didn’t help much.

Sure. But let’s be honest, it should not happen on a $300k + car. My AMG and my wife’s Range Rover has never had those glitches.

 

I entirely agree. Dealers can’t fix as it’s a sporadic issue that can’t be replicated. F aren’t bothered. So turn it off and on is the only way to deal with it.

 

I disconnect the battery.

 

I've had glitches on my 2024 Roma coupe

Phone did not connect as Carplay or phone several times, delete and re-pair.
Passenger window would not go up the final inch when closing door several times. Had to cycle car's power.
Had rear tail ight and brake light error once on driver side, and once on passenger side, both showed up in the dash. Errors cleared themselves
Gas door would not open. Had to power car down and turn it on again.

Most problematic for me is my iPhone often not connecting. Wish there was a fix.

 

And this morning I had the Christmas tree of lights, more error messages than I could cancel, everything broken apparently.

Turn off and on did not resolve.

I drove (cautiously) to a close supermarket, did a bit of shopping. Upon return, all fine. Car is always connected to a battery maintainer.

I was perturbed by all the errors but decided they were likely false and so proceeded anyway.

Doing a hardtop would have had lines very different. Furthermore they didn’t have hardtop convertibles in 1960.

My Roma Spider is due this week. I was informed that the planned two year run of this model is about complete. You can still order them but they are now limited. That would mean the last orders allowed would be in early 2025 for delivery in 2026.

 

Ordered my Roma Spider in July 2023 and am on the waitlist. As my first Ferrari, I'm likely the lowest priority.

The dealer estimated delivery between January and July 2025 (18 to 24 months).

Is anyone else seeing a similar schedule?
