    I find the outside mirrors on my 76 GTB to be completely useless from my sitting position which is pretty far forward since I'm 5'5". Have any of you opted for some good aftermarket mirrors that actually serve their designed purpose? I'd much rather avoid drilling additional holes that can't be covered by the new units, although I might out of frustration be willing to have one mounting hole showing--filled with a nice black satin screw or some such plug. Any solutions to be had?

    The Vitaloni mirrors are pretty much worthless regardless of height or position. My car only had the driver's, and I initially wanted to add a passenger. After using the car, I decided it wasn't worth it. The later cars and 328's had larger, adjustable mirrors, but I think the GTO's flag mirrors are probably the most functional. All that being said, the Vitalonis are the best looking.

    What we need is a mirror like modern cars, objects in mirror are closer than they appear. But agree, completely useless.

    Use the flags from 80 onward. They are fine and look suited for the car as well.

    GTO mirrors are the worst part of the car. 328 mirrors are great.
