Unfortunately Marcel, most do not care. It is sad and really shows the mediocrity of their actions.

To be mediocre, is the worst possible adjective in life.

A little faith was starting to be restored and 263 looked very promising with a brilliant article by Alan Boe on the Peron 212 Inter.
Sadly, the text has obviously been edited by a robot and not proof read by a human again as Peron is constantly, one would assume by some form of auto correct, typed as Pern.

For me that is not restoring a little faith, that is destroying the last faith I had :(

That was my sentiment; I felt that there had been some improvement with some better quality articles in recent issues; the odd typo still occurs which is very frustrating when it is the numbers that are so relevant in the text, but this is a schoolboy error and questions what editorial systems, if any, are in place.

They simply don't care. Really not.
They or their robot also cut out stuff that should absolutely be in the article. Important stuff that I know WAS in the article, because author Alan Boe and I corresponded heavily/intensely for this particular story.

But hey, seven full color pages about collector Bob Lee's widow with 7 color pix of this wonderful woman, but not a single photo of any of the 30 classic Ferraris in the Lee Collection.

Apparenly my recent decision to allow my subscription to lapse was the correct one. Too bad, it was a great publication for a long time. John Barnes did far more for the Ferrari marque and legacy than most know or appreciate.

Not only, Perón carries an accent on the 'o'.

This, from a mag. that is supposed to be a 'top' quality..... ?

Had she lived now, Evita would have way more than 7 color photos in the article on her husbands 212 Inter.

    Lifestyle larger than life.

I fully agree with you, lifestyle larger than life, while wearing her mink coat, and addressing her adoring, "descamisados" (shirtless) populace,
but her husband and her, single handedly (double) destroyed Argentina to the sad state it has continued to be with the Peronistas.

He was her weak puppet.....with a Ferrari . Hopefully, and very slowly, things may improve some.

    Regards, Alberto

The truth behind the myth is often inconvenient, it is easier to remember her as the "Evita" of the musical.

I guess Enzo doesn't like his fathers name.

Unless........... you dont suppose he is using his mothers name for some level of business advantage ?

Probably to make it clear that he's not the original Enzo Ferrari, that he is Enzo Mattioli Ferrari. The alive Enzo Ferrari. Only Mattioli I can think of involved in cars is/was the owner of Pocono Raceway. So I'm pretty sure it's not to show he's related to them.

Similar to why when they catch a serial killer they use their full name in the press release. JOHN WAYNE GACEY, for instance. So that folks living next door to John Paul Gacey don't think their neighbor is a serial killer. Makes it 100% clear who you're dealing with.
