Extended warranty for hybrids

Do a quick search as there is a lot of confusion on this. The hybrid warranty is 7 years. If you look on your app you will see the 3 year bumper to bumper warranty and a 4 year HV system extension. You can purchase additional years on the bumper to bumper (1 or 2 year) and you can purchase 8 years and beyond for the hybrid. No reason to do anything now as we are a long way off from the hybrid warranty expiring.

Afaik according to both my dealer and FOC. The extended warranty option is offered prior to the current one expiring

 

That’s correct and typically how it works, or at least how it’s worked in the past.
