Thought i'd share my experience with Scuderia Audio. I have a 458 Spéciale, and was very unhappy with the audio. It's the worst car audio i've had on any car, ever. I bought the full kit on Scuderia Audio (picture of all parts attached). Mike kept me updated during the whole build process, and shipped the parts halfway across world. My local shop installed it in 2 hours. I'm blown away by the result. This is now the best sounding audio i have in any car - much better than the audio in my 992 GT3. Picture of the installed subwoofer also attached. Wish i'd done this much sooner !
I've never turned the radio on in the Speciale, but I'd say it has one of the best sound systems out there!
does anyone have a diagram of where the speakers are located in a 458 Italia with the Hi Fi/ JBL option? the diagram on Scuderia parts is hard to see. there are supposed to be 2 tweeters and a center channel somewhere in the dash? I can see the 4 Planar speaker behind the seats under the rear window, but there are supposed to be 2 mid drivers on the B pillar on each side but all i see is leather so how can there be 2 speakers on each side near the headrests when this area is covered in leather? thanks in advance!
