    An independent Rolex-certified watchmaker located in North Dallas changes out dials for $30, on the spot. The dial came from eBay, $200 + tax.

    Nah…just the up close shot (watches always look bigger when photographed up close), it’s 42mm, but mostly all dial + very large pushers, so appears larger then it’s dimensions, especially in a closeup photo.

    It's a very cool piece and more my style than your RM but the Patek looks like it wears bigger. How does it feel to wear?

    The reason I ask is I have some orphan, high end, size 10 and size 12 pocket watch movements (mostly American) and was thinking of using them in a wristwatch or two (it's been done before but...). RGM did a run of these and the 10 Size came up 41mm: https://www.rgmwatches.com/watches#/model-222rr/ (I'd probably want a more interesting case). The 12 Size would probably wind up a 43mm.

    I'm thinking that the RGMs are already big and thick as compared to most of my wristwatches, which are from the 1930s - 1950s, so you can guess what I'm used to wearing on my wrist vs my pocket... :^)

    I think that even with a slim-line case the 12 Size 43mm case is just going to look and feel like a boat anchor - which is too bad, because the 12 Size stuff is better than what RGM used.

    Any feedback would be appreciated.
