Looks like a tidy and unmolested W108 Mercedes-Benz.

I have a query regarding the oil pressure on my car, when the cars hot and its idling at the lights the oil pressure often dips below the 5 bar marker maximum 3 mm and then waves back to 5 ect, no oil pressure light but it spooks me, I topped the oil up as it was at the bottom marker on the dipstick and it runs great, should i be concerned ??
Mine Mine is similar as we're my previous two cars I put an old style mechanical gauge on to test and found good idle pressure of 25 lbs and near 90 when driving
thats a relief thanks John , my reading is actually 2.5 Bar which is 30 odd psi which makes me feel better
A car at idle requires very little oil pressure. It would obviously vary from engine to engine, but 20psi is plenty.

Please forgive me Simon; no apology necessary A good & trusted friend purchased a race car from 'Penrite race Team' no less; with a low klm's Learner engine in the car Upon disassembly the poor old 711M internals & ancillaries were found to be rather sub standard I will provide a break down of the 'discovered' items in due course Best Wishes Mick
I thought Peter Larner had a pretty good rep - did the apprentice do yours? No dog in this fight, I've had no personal dealings with the firm or the man.
Got a better view now when I drive my car, changed the gauge faces to kph and C° and also upgraded to the CS yellow tach Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jeezuss this thing sounds as though is dropped at least 1 valve: https://online.doningtonauctions.com.au/m/lot-details/index/catalog/205/lot/49204/1974-Alfa-Romeo-Junior-Z-1600-Coupe-Location-Sydney?url=%2Fm%2Fview-auctions%2Fcatalog%2Fid%2F205
348 Spider in an accident, scary stuff. Driver, child passenger injured after crashing Ferrari in Newfield
It was very easy to change the gauge faces over, the hardest part was lining the steering column surround to get the bolts back in LoL looks much better now than the old faces
