Our new Classifieds is killing it with over 100 Ferraris listed with a value over $15 million. Listing with our new Classifieds gets a full marketing package that includes Forum thread, Email listing, Facebook and Instagram. For more detailed info...

we aren't tracking that exactly "yet", but we just started about 5 months ago and we haven't done the marketing for most, but I personally know about 5 that have sold, I would guess the exposure has lead to 1-2 dozen sales.

yep, problem is not all communications go through our system currently and they can take conversation offline. also a few dealers that have link to their dealership. so there are alot of ways a listing can get sold because of our system, but not through our system.

not pushing it right now, but we can also do the marketing package for cars listed on BAT or PCARMarket etc.

Maybe in the future you can offer some sort of like private (so seen by FChat staff etc) only “confirmation” that a buyer or seller can send in to help finalize the data.

we already have a couple things, we have the make an offer where you can reverse bid and the seller can manage all their potential buyers. we also have internal messaging.

    however, we don't yet...
    • disallow links in description (going to dealers site)
    • hide email (seller or buyer can then go offline)
    • hide phone (seller or buyer can then go offline)
We'll never be able to monitor communication DM's Facebook and Instagram.

A few steps at a time. If you get a listing and with 2,500 listing visits and haven't sold the car, your price is too high. We hope to get more sells done through reaching more potential buyers than anyone else and also the reverse bidding so maybe the seller can realize a good market price.

Maybe for dealers... Maybe offer a rebate or a free listing if they report it as sold through your mailer/site.

    We dealers love money.

Or if you have additional data you can provide them or added value such as better placement or something for those that participate in helping you create a better product by providing the sold information.

Obviously a system that was a hey if you say you sold it on here we will refund or discount your next listing will just get abused... Because well... Car dealers... But if they opted in more of a survey based thing and you could provide some sort of value or mutual exchange.

    I don't know... Just ramblings

    Good idea.

I think it is manageable. Just get both the seller and buyer to confirm and offer testimonial. We'll give a discount, free listing or whatever, but those types of successes will go a long ways. thanks.

@rob lay - My listing disappeared when I tried to update it, yet it hadn't expired. The description for "Silver Subscribed" states that one car ad/year is included, but now there's a $250 fee. There is clearly contradicting info.

There is our legacy old Forum Classifieds which are part of the subscription.

We have the new Classifieds which have a $250 marketing package.

    https://ads.ferrarichat.com/sell-ferrari

When you update Classified in the new system, then we have to reapprove it, which can take 12 hours or so. I don't currently see an ad by you. If you have a recent ad that disappeared, but give me more information. When did you post your ad? Was it in the old forum classifieds or the new system?

There is nothing contradicting. It clearly says it in the subscription description.

It was in the old classifieds. I think it was moved to the new platform as part of a free trial, which may have expired and caused my ad to dissappear when I tried to edit it. The ad was for my 2005 F430 F1 in near mint condition, and every single know nuance addressed. It's a super well maintained winning concourse example.

In the description for "Silver subscribed", it clearly states one car ad per year. I tried to re-list it, but was redirected to the new platform, which costs $250. There's the contradiction I am referring to.

Ads were not moved from the old to new Classifieds. You could have listed them in both places.

Look at the Upgrades Subscription info above! "Post Ads in Legacy Classifieds". There is no contradiction, there are two different ads systems.

You have a Silver subscription, list it in the Legacy Classifieds, I don't see you have an ad.
