Hi, I’m really keen on the following car, but I don’t like the Assetto Fiorano livery / stickers. Can they be removed or are the part of the paintwork line a Speciale? https://dubai.dubizzle.com/motors/used-cars/ferrari/296-gtb/2024/1/22/ferrari-296-gtb-assetto-fiorano-carbon-whe-2-560---976710e666564147b17e68b2f8627909/
Problem someone who shouldn’t be buying a Ferrari. I need to let go of the belief that a bare minimum problem solving ability is required to be successful in this world.
How could one question someone with such a silly question. Several brands use stickers and other livery (stickers) - i.e - Porsche GT3 RS, etc Several older Ferrari’s such as the 360 Stradale were supposed to be ‘stickers’ with a clear coat. I’m baffled that one would find that so weird, and even more baffled that someone would bother replying to a thread with such a comment… but, there is always one I guess…
Www.google.com. It’s a super useful resource for finding basic information about almost anything. Check it out. Especially before dropping $400k on a car.
I did search it… and that was the reason I asked… full of Google searches with websites selling AF decals… Thank you for your really helpful contribution… you must be a delight to be around.
now that is actually funny though. l love where this thread is going. seriously though- the option is a paint livery only. however, one could get decals aftermarket that would be a removable option! Image Unavailable, Please Login
The painted livery would be listed on the "personalization" plate in the trunk (since it is a factory optional feature) while aftermarket decals would not.
I think it would suffice to be polite to this person and just say, it's painted on and would show in the options list. To remove them would be detrimental to your value and the AF package is available without the stripes. It would be better to seek a spec without them for resale value. My mom taught me to be nice....and there's no such thing as a stupid question
All that being said, I do prefer the look of the car without the stripes myself. And actually prefer the adjustable suspension, so for once I saved $50 grand by skipping a nifty option....
Fortunately it's only optional, one can get a 296 AF without it. Paying for it does not really make sense IMHO, unless one wants everybody to immediately notice it has the AF package (since the option is not available on non-AF cars).
