I know of two local Boxers that are technically still "on the road" but neither have left their garage in at least 2 decades.

I suspect that 2% are "on the road", the rest are "still existent." Cars that cover less than 100 miles a month are not vehicles, they're garage art.

The increase of production numbers in the last few years has been huge, so a very high percentage could be reached with mostly recent cars.

Yep. Exactly. Go back to the mid 70's and the percentage would be much lower. Mass production and a rise in prices which makes restorations economically feasible has increased the percentage.

For some vintage Ferrari models, it’s over 100%, no?
