Best of my knowledge Donnie has not been charged in CA. LAPD TRAP division has seized 16 vehicles/partial vehicles and building a case. No victims of the criminal nature in CA, yet. Donnie need to remain in AZ, currently. See the terms of his release document, I provided
It seems Donnie is perilously close to getting his bail revoked, by contacting other victims, and (as always) trying to get money out of them and telling everyone that "The states case is falling apart." It isn't, and his trial will begin on schedule. If he has contacted any of you, attempting to influence you or soliciting money, please notify the Maricopa County Superior Court - Criminal Division. Sadly, Arizona State has dropped ALL charges against Callaway. Once again, our legal and judicial system has failed us and clearly unable to process these types of white-collar crimes. Arizona is basically pushing it off on California. So, for those of you in CA that are victims, seek out your lawmakers / legal team....it does not have to be over and this man has to be punished for the multitude of crimes he has committed.
Where are you getting this information? It's not showing here. https://www.superiorcourt.maricopa.gov/docket/CriminalCourtCases/caseInfo.asp?caseNumber=CR2024-115322
That link has not been updated since Oct. 18th. The information I provided is from this week Tuesday, from the prosecutor directly.
What was the excuse given for them not proceeding? Was this a decision by the prosecutor you talked with or a decision from someone higher up?
How can someone be held for over a month with enough evidence, but then let go with nothing. I think there have been some good documentaries out lately how messed up our criminal justice system is people locked up for years that can't afford bail and then many don't end up with convictions. If charged inmates can't afford bail, then they need to go through the system efficiently or be let out. If the charges are valid, then they need to be efficiently pursued, not cleared to free up the docket. Not fair to society if the guilty fall through the cracks because of an inefficient justice system and not fair to take years off a persons life waiting their turn. Not a fair system if the innocent still serving guilty time waiting or the guilty let off with nothing. Time should equal the crime.
Ignore the noise. It's not over yet. Trial dates are still holding. Case is being represented to the Grand Jury on 11/8 to evaluate probable cause. BTW, doesn't he look adorable in Orange and leg irons? Image Unavailable, Please Login
