He definitely didn't have the chops today when it counted. He's lost it and has lost it, especially in the wet.

Lewis is not taking any risk over these last few races while waiting to move into his Ferrari seat. Lewis is a mature driver with the best win record in the history of F1. Lewis has a simple goal, an achievable goal...he needs 5 wins at Ferrari to achieve 110 wins, a goal unlikely to be beat in his lifetime. Max has lost his dominant car since Newey left Red Bull at Miami. Lewis is the GOAT for F1, to all but a handfull of fan boys who will argue that the only man in the sport with over 100 wins is not the man with the most successful career in F1. F1 has one GOAT and Lewis has his eye on the next 5 wins. MS at 91 wins was an amazing stat, Lewis at 110 would be a legacy that would stand for a very long time. Go Ferrari for 2025 season!

The guys race 24+ race ... Verstappen is 27 with 202 races and 62 wins roughly 31% of his races won. Ham 353 races 105 wins, 29.7%. Max is in his prime for the next 5-7 years...
Say he races 10 more years at 24 races which is 240 races... He will likely obliterate Hamilton's records.
Basing one "GOAT" status on records is pointless, new era and all records will be broken. Heck senna had like 162 races by age 34 which is already 3 full less seasons (of his era than verstappen)... Can not compare, lets not impose views on others but to say Ham is "pacing" himself out there is imo not true. He is doing the best he can but maybe the car doesnt suit him, maybe motivation is not there, or maybe simply with age he has lot that tenth needed or fearlessness needed to overtake at all costs ? Father time is undefeated.

I am no max fan, he is to ME, dangerous, ruthless, rude but he is the best currently without a doubt.

Thanks! Right on time...this is the example of tourted statistics that fan boys and Lewis haters always turn to. In the NFL ask me what quartback has the most wins? In F1 ask me which driver won the most races, on the PGA tour ask me which golfer won the most tournaments.

No one ever ask "who might win the most games, races, tournaments based on all future competitors having the same number of years in the sport when they finish their careers based on their past performance percentages". You have entered the pure BS zone...much easier to admit that as of today Lewis has 105 wins, MS has 91 and Max has 62. Since Max could get hit by a bus tomorrow (lose Newey who was behind the dominant car at Red Bull), we don't go on about infinit possible future possibilities unless someone can't handle the state of the F1 official standings as they stand today.

Ummmm, in the NFL, it's Tom Brady as a quarterback and yes he's a GOAT in the NFL.

Max drove great, and great win. Even though the red flag helped him. Let the Max fans enjoy this drive. Sir Lewis Hamilton has had many wet championship drives. Been there done that.

Thank you! See how easy it is to answer the correct question. Brady is quarterback GOAT and Lewis is F1 GOAT. Most football wins and most F1 wins as the record books stand today.

No one asked .. "statisticly, is there anyone in the sport that might one day break their record?"

Yeeeeeraaaaahhhhh, but you can't compare the NFL to F1. F1 has many formula changes. The NFL doesn't.

NFL changes rules ever season just like F1 and the FIA.

You can use simple logic to point out that some people can't accept the truth no matter how many ways you try to explain it to them.

Simple Question, looking at F1 race win history, who has the most F1 wins as of today? How many more wins does this person have compared to the second most winning driver in F1 history as of today?

Is it true that both drivers will or have driven for Ferrari? Go Ferrari 2025!

The number of races in one season has been dramatically increased, so for current drivers it's easier to have more wins.
Did the number of NFL matches in one year increase by 50% ? if it did, players in these conditions would be likely to have more wins.

To defend Lewis as the GOAT after his performance this weekend is impressive. He was exploited for being completely over rated once again.

Those rules in the NFL have made the sport more safer, just like the NBA. Jordan would have more points in todays NBA because the refereeing is up to another level calling ANYKIND of foul. Back in the days in the NFL and NBA, the referee's "let the players play" to be euphemistic.

More years, more races, more rules....this happens in every professional sport. Change is the only constant in life.

Has nothing to do with the question
Who won the most tournaments in the PGA?
Who scored the most goals in the NHL?
Who has the most wins in F1?

When MS was racking up his 91 wins no one brought up years, races, or percentages...they just admired the number 91 and talk of if it would ever be broken.

Stick your head in the sand...but you can't avoid the fact that Lewis has the most wins of any driver in F1 history because of the way he has managed his talent, career, and fitness.

Schumacher's winning percentage for 1 year was 72%.

Ascari's win percentage back in the day was 75%.

Lewis Hamitons HIGHEST winning percentage was 62% for 2020.

Max Verstappens winning percentage for 2022 was 86%. In fact, if you combine 2022 and 2023, Max still beats the drivers mentioned here in winning percentage with both years combined.

And this is small thinking on your part. Lewis is joining Ferrari next season because MB has issues. Name one other driver going for win number 106 next season? I'll wait? How much money did Ferrari pay him for what they see as potential?

Funny, the QUESTION - WHO HAS WON THE MOST RACES IN THE HISTORY OF F1?... has nothing about "percentages" in the question.
Other questions can be asked...but thats not the topic

    Maybe because:

    1) There's more races in Hamiltons career.
    2) MercedesAMGF1 re-invented the wheel under the turbo-hybrid era and it took RedBull-Honda in 2021 to dethrone Mercedes dominance. Certainly the token system(2014 -2016...3 years) helped in Mercedes dominance.
    3) Yes, Hamilton got very very lucky making the switch from McLaren-Mercedes to Mercedes in 2014 as a full works team.

Max is 27years old with 3 WDC titles under his belt and a 4th on the way.

Lewis didn't get his 2nd WDC title till he was 29yo.

    Let that sink in......
