He's always been a spoiled whiney ***** when things don't go his way. Fastest guy on the grid no doubt but I hate his personality.
So apparently during the late night stream on Twitch, Max asked his team (Red Bull, not Red Line) if he could do another stint and the team said it was fine. IMO they're using sim racing as a scape goat. Not a hugely impactful one but with everything else at play, not a wise move by Red Bull. That said he can still easily do earlier stints in those races.
He's a whiny child- he's so used to sipping espresso in clean air that the moment he actually has to RACE someone he cries like a child- he disgusts me- pathetic
RB is missing Newey and his clever cheats. although clever cheats could just be the FIA saying “we never thought of that” and not a real cheat.
Maybe old shoe, but has anyone commented about his foul mouth observation about the 'effin' car with the Journos? And possibly the censoring of the communications with the pits, when you can only say 'fudge' ? Once again I am guilty for not reading all of F1 threads. How will he do his day of penance / day of human utility / cleaning toilets? Or another case of the kettle calling the pan black, vis a vis the mighty Sheik vs Max? Regards, Alberto
I think Max deserved to get punished for swearing in a press conference. The excuse of swearing being part of his normal language isn't good enough. If I walk into an elementary school, I have no problem keeping my swearing to absolutely zero. There is a time and place, and in a press conference doesn't need swearing. Swearing should absolutely be expected on radios. The drivers are in very high pressure situations talking with their engineers, they aren't talking to fans. Effectively F1 broadcasts are spying on the drivers at all times. Max is right, if they don't like the language, turn off the station. I also support Max from taking a stand against the FIA and holding his own press conference. Perhaps the reason being swearing is a little silly, but he is standing up against a tyrant governing body. Good on him.
What to expect from a FIA president coming from a place that don't allow free speech ? Dictatorial powers !
Max Verstappen MOCKING British Media for Not Showing Up in the Press Conference Brazil GP This will never stop being funny to me. Not only did Max absolutely wipe the floor with the entire grid, he publicly *****-slapped the entire British media. The British media not being in the press room says it all. They'll have to write their articles through tears and gritted teeth for sure.
Damon Hill has credibility(marginal) only among British F1 fans. Outside the UK, few give a whit what he thinks?
I'm one of those that can give a rat's @$$ what he thinks. That's why I like Nico when he is a commentator at some races because he goes against their ideology....Nico is a thorn in the shoe.....and I know they don't like it.
I've always loved the helmet design of Jos and Max Verstappen. There's something menacing about those two bands below the visor, almost Star Wars like.
I dont suppose he gives a rats......what you think either. At least i see his name on the list of world Drivers Champions so i am guessing he has some idea of what he is talking about. Any interviews I see, it well thought out and honest. Just because you dont like the criticism aimed at your star you berate the guy. Any media throughout the world will show bias towards their fellow countryman, I bet the Spanish press back Sainz and Alonso to the hilt or the Aussies etc etc. I bet the Yank media would back their guy too. But you and others just like to Brit bash so crack on but your bias is rather hypocritical.!! As for Verstappen, he is a whiny talented creep, worthy of being a champion and could be a great champion...if only he.............. Best tony
Nico thinks otherwise than Damon Hill and Nico is ALSO in that list of World Champions so I'm guessing he has some idea of what he is talking about....as well as Bernie Ecclestone who has seem them all.
MOST GRAND PRIX WINS AWAY FROM POLE Michael Schumacher with 51 wins Lewis Hamilton with 44 Alain Prost with 33 Max Verstappen with 30 Sebastian Vettel with 22
Yes it was funny seeing the Sky F1 team gritting their teeth while being forced to praise Max. Just as funny as Max’s comment about the press afterwards. Interestingly the British press were very harsh on Lando. I guess they had to aim their vitriol at someone.
