I am so sick of that factory color combo. **** they really screwed up with that as the launch color. It's awful

It seems intentional: all the cars for the press to drive on the streets were in Giallo Montecarlo with Verde Venaria, with "Hyundai wheels".

Where are the other color combinations? Where are the Rosso Corsa, Giallo TS, Blu Pozzi, Argento Nurburgring and etc? And the Cuoio, Charcoal, Terra Bruciata, etc. interiors?

It seems that there are only 12Cilindri in 6 specific colors: Giallo Montecarlo, Rosso Imola, Verde Toscana, Celeste Trevi, Blu Corsa and Bianco Artico.

Never in the history of the Ferrari has it been so difficult to see a model in the classic and beautiful Rosso Corsa.

Agreed! I for one am dying to see it in Blu Pozzi (although I'm slightly worried about the non-metallic paint on this specific model).

There was a spider prototype rolling around in Rosso Corsa, and I saw some photos of a mule in Nero or Nero Daytona. But I suspect we'll have to wait for Europe deliveries to start to really see more colours.

When are the first deliveries expected to be? Early next year?

Good thing he stopped and got a few pictures! I wonder how many 12 Cilindri FNA got for the press pool? They don't mind doing tailor made cars either. They used Rosso Fiorano for a 458 Spider and Rosso Rubino Micalizzato for an F8. All those cars eventually go to American dealers.
    SF90 was Azzurro California...

Looks not far from home base, also I think I see the required US side markers/ reflectors

    I thought exactly the same
But perhaps the factory was pressed to get the press cars ready for the launch.

Easier to paint a small run in the same color

The design team and marketing probably decided on the choices

The spiders were fitted with the simpler wheel rims while the coupes wore the 'hot wheel" style paired with the titanium lug bolts, which I personally love.

Big thanks for these factory test car pictures
Nero paint hides the design trim
But is it more satisfying ?
I kinda feel owners need to go with the design teams choices rather than fight against them
But that’s my opinion. I’m also not a fan of after market body kits on Ferrari cars

I had a factory visit on Monday and saw quite a lot of 12 Cilindri, one of them in black.
In my eyes it just looked too simple, quite sad because the color black is hiding nearly every line of the design.
Despite the unloved black trim in the back of the car every contrasting color works better than black.
Only my individual opinion, but based on viewing real cars in different colors…

With the unique opportunity to see the 12 Cilindri in person, which paint color worked best in your opinion? Some grigio again maybe?

For me the Grigio Silverstone will fit the best

That depends on your personal taste - as always… do you accept the design idea and the contrasting black parts or do you try to hide them?
I saw blu Corsa, verde Toscano, argento Nürburgring, Rosso Portofino, all suited the car well.
I for myself chose giallo montecarlo for a maximum of contrast…

I agree the black paint blunts the spirit of the design. The color contrast awakens the design details and gives the design more energy. Thank you for sharing your 'first hand' experiences with the new 12 Cilindri design!

One potential problem with Nero Dodici Cilindri, there could be several different shades of black on the exterior. The shots with the part camo will hide this. But in real life, you will have the lower rockers and diffuser, lower front elements in carbon or some kind of grey. Then the non changeable black elements, and then you have the black paint. Strangely, a black car might call more attention to the black areas.
