That's one car you should avoid. It would snap in half even before you got it airborne. I think a low mileage, manual 996 or 997 coupe with all the maintenance up to date, non chinese tyres and Australian delivery would be the sweet spot for you. A good 3.0 or 3.2 Mondial in excellent condition would be fun, but finding one better than Greg's mechanically would be a challenge. You might find a rubbish 360 in that price range, best to leave that alone unless you're prepared to sink another $50,000 into making it right mechanically.
Yep, a $90k Mondial will need $20k thrown at it. $3.5k just for new tyres. Then all the hoses, remember the condition of these Carl? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yup. The outwardly ok looking header tank is a classic. People forget these are over 40 years old. Nothing lasts forever.
By the way, I went through your invoice again and cross referenced the factory manual. You overcharged me by about $10k. Luckily I’m more than happy to overpay Image Unavailable, Please Login

Incredible that car shared garage space with John P when he had his 250 TDF. Looks the business for you Simon, go for it!
The restomod will keep a lot of buyers away and the EFI's worth $20K alone. You should be able to snip it.
The throttle bodies would be a great mod. Paint the bumpers black and it’ll look half decent again. The header tank has obviously rusted through, an easy fix but it was a bit tricky finding one when Carl replaced mine. But OMFG, that dashboard …..
