These cars are going to be painful in the depreciation cycle due to the pricing and option costs, but still not stopping me from buying one hah.
I have a coupe allocation Im not sure if the price is frozen due to delivery delays but i do have a price on my paperwork Is your price agreed upon in your paperwork too?
My build sheet has the current prices for the car/options, but each time I've ordered a model, the dealer nor FNA guarantees the final MSRP. After the car hits the port and gets released to the dealers, the actual sticker is printed which is when you find out your actual price and what model year your car will be.
Since no US cars will be delivered in 2024, then the MSRP is subject to a price increase revision in 2025
Inspiration Needed I will be at the Factory next Month to spec my coupe. I have something in mind that remembers the old Daytona. Do you have and idea? Most of the pictures I find online of old Race Cars are Rosso Corsa. I thought about a metallic colour (not red) and a stripe over the bonnet.
We ended up with Yellow. Triple layer, so not quite reminiscent of the first Daytona I ever laid eyes on. It was a beautiful yellow coupe. At $80k, it was out of reach at the time. That would have been around 1982 or 1983 in Newport Beach. Not many years later, those values soared!
So, I got a call yesterday from dealer urgently wanting to connect. When I rang him back he said that he has an allocation for me on the coupe and did I want I want it and can I be in next week to config. I said YES and YES! My dealer just started taking desposits a few weeks ago unlike what I have heard from many on here. He was clear that he was going to do whatever he could but because he said the allocation amounts are so low and I am in a hotter market, it may take some time. Now I find out it should be here this summer! I had moved the spec to the back of mind thinking this was years away….now it’s months and I am unsure of what color I want to do. I was thinking of the launch green with the silver spider wheels. But maybe a red? Haven’t done that for my car…wife’s f cars are red except her PS which will be Roma blue. Crazy thing is the PS is expected late spring/early summer and the 12 cillinder is right on its heals..big gap from when those orders were actually placed. I will post the results here next week
I got an email as well, with likely delivery in the fall....my PS is coming then too, so don't want too many cars coming at once. I've been waiting for TM as well...keep us posted!
After I had my sit -down for the spec and paid the deposit I got an email from Ferrari a day or two later. And in my Ferrari app there is a new car in The My Garage: the 12 Cilindri classified as Waiting List. No VIN yet. But my exterior Interior and Other items are on display
I was in yesterday and put my spec together. I will post the three variants (exterior color) I am still struggling w but need to lock in the next month. White, green and red. Interior stays the same regardless of exterior. I actually did carbon on the exterior for the first time on a v12….options added up fast!
Indeed, the options add up fast…. I am thinking my Coupe lands somewhere in the low $6’s. So here are my three. Bianco italia, verde toscano and magma. Hmmmmm. I like magma, wife’s toscano and kiddo (22) is italia. The only color great seems less great in the attachment is Bianco italia which is stunning in real life Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Someone surely canceled and they scrambled to fill. I'm sure there will he more of these that pop up. Good for some buyers who got left out in the initial allocations.
The verde is my favorite. The red is classic and resale safest. I think the white is most “out of style” now
Pass on the white. Have you had a red Ferrari before? If not, I'd go with that. Verde obviously has a more discreet look, which can be a plus as well.
My vote is for magma, it looks amazing on that car. I did Bianca Italia on my Puro which is supposed to be delivered in the spring.
Bianca Italia is one of the top contenders for our PS. I would love to see pics when it comes in! Still waiting for our number to come up for spec.
Thanks for posting Sounds like a very optioned car Gotta question regarding the exterior carbon: What is the standard black plastic trim look like for the "Front Air Vents"? Is this bit of rectangular plastic glossy --like the lower wing mirror standard trim ? Or is it the same dull finish black plastic which the front spoiler, side sill, and rear diffuser are made with?
