    if not for my love of my home ,my family ,friends and the CFC at The G , i'd leave Melbourne and buy this Villa Talia Wattle grove Tasmania .And keep a large boat up to 60 foot at the Kettering marina ,have a 4x4 say a defender as the daily and the 992.2T for fun and mainland road trips .

    I genuinely don’t understand why you don’t just do it.
    Tasmania is bloody close to Melbourne anyway.

    After the last couple of weeks we have decided we will be buying in Tas as soon as possible.
    When it’s too cold there we’ll just retreat to the shack, or north, or Europe etc.

    We spent the final day / night of the holiday in Melbourne with friends, and I’m sorry, it’s a total and utter ****hole.
    The last ten years or so has destroyed that place, and it offers nothing appealing at all. Which is a shame, because it used to be great.

    Even Chloe whom used to live there and has often got defensive about the place was glad to see the back of it.

    If you’ve got the means to live the way you show above I’m ****ed if I know why you wouldn’t.

    I agree it is a ****hole ,ive got to much on ,94 year old mother ,Amanda who also has a mother in her 90s ,my sister whom I'm now managing there finacial affairs .

    That property has been for sale for a while ,over priced ,selling my home would free up plenty of capital -the timing is not there perhaps it never will be or i should have done it when I retired at 51.

    plus there is snakes in Tassie around the rivers !
