I hop the Italians can get Lewis cleaned up. Good looking Italian clothes, haircut, etc. And hide that stupid scooter, getto clothes and jewelry.

I have to agree. I might think Lewis dresses like a clown but he is completely free to dress as he wants. People are free to express their opinions on his fashion choices, but we don't get the right to dictate how he chooses to dress or how he does his hair, etc.

Ferrari drivers appear at certain functions approved by Ferrari.....so Ferrari dictates the following attire:

    1) Black jacket with the Cavalino Rampante Crest next to the lapel.

    2) Black slacks(pants)

    3) White collared shirt

Other than that, they can dress however they want.

Note: It will be interesting to see how Lewis enters the paddock because mostly ALL of the drivers that drive for Ferrari enter the paddock with a Ferrari shirt or polo and if it's inclement weather then a Ferrari rain jacket or a Ferrari heavy jacket(for the cold).

Also, any P&R logo's on his helmet will be interesting as well with the Scuderia.

I think that’s part of the reason they got him. Have you seen their merch/clothes lately?

He’s the perfect rep for that circus.

A very disappointing Q3 for Lewis.
What i do not like about hardcore Lewis fan is they are dissing mercedes and not self reflecting.
7 out of 10 years lewis was provided with a championship winning car, they did well to him.
My take is we will never know what he has exactly been losing with age but the way he has been suffering the comparison with george does fuel the : it was all the car which is unfair because lewis came in F1 ballistically quick. The truth is in the middle but his q3 yesterday was unacceptable , this was a lock up for mercedes had he not messed up TWICE

I imagine it’s hard accepting when to step down after a life like his.

Any older athlete knows the harsh reality of age. It is undeniable that we simply don’t have the same reflexes and abilities at 40 that we did at 20.

Lewis still has his moments but overall he just isn’t the same driver he was at his peak. Although I think he has a good shot at a podium here at Vegas.

Happens to all the greats sooner or later!

I see more fight in Alonso than I see in Lewis Hamilton......even after all the crappy cars Alonso has had to endure....albeit Alonso's self-enduced path in F1.

That is mostly true for PEAK athletes. Let me explain.
Take MIchael Jordan at 40 VS 20, he could not do half the things he did on the court but in practice he could, not at the peak level.

For regular joes like us who never had a PEAK like those guys we dont necessarly lose as much as fast or in a noticeable way as those guys.

He has a shot at 3rd/4th without mistakes and a bit of luck... He Really blew it TWICE in q3 ... HE had nailed the weekend so far being as fast as george

    Certainly!

    There's no hate for him.

In fact, I can ensure there would be much love for him and all he has ever represented and stood for if he could simply refrained himself from wearing a red race suit.

Great Race by Lewis and impeccable politically correct/sportsman in his post race interview. Had he qualified 5th the race was his.
Lets hope he finishes his tenure over the next 2 races well and who knows, maybe he will suprise us at Ferrari

    After the Las VegasGP 2024

    Russell has 217pts

    Hamilton has 208pts.

    2 more races left.

If Russell didn't get DQ'd in Spa, it would be 242 vs 201 pts.

None of that matters. Ferrari hired LH. One driver is moving up to Ferrari and another down the grid. History will focus on the driver going to Ferrari. Thats going to be difficult for some here. They can call Elkann and Freddy V. Look at those smiles LOL!!!!!

Good race indeed for him, but you have to wonder still what's going through Ferrari's mind still. They'll make the money back on hat sales for sure but I fear Lewis and Charles will take a lot of points of each other throughout the season and others will profit....

I'm just pointing out that Russell properly thumped Lewis this season.

It will be very interesting to see how LH and CL do against each other next year.

Is it me or one could feel how all those guys genuinely dislike each other in the phantom/cooling room.
U got Sainz who wanted to stay at FErrari hamilton taking his place, Russell smirking he is #1 at Mercedes, Ham thinking he should have won it and, maybe unhappy at how he stints with merc is finishing (see toto's remarks) throw in the mix Charles who feels disrespected by sainz's attack who himself is trying to tell ferrari you shouldnt have let me go... Epic...

Too bad the whole season wasnt like the second part. It would have been a close call between Russ, Ham, Lec, norris, piastri and VErstappen for the title. Hopefully next year is this way !

    Agree on everything you said.
Wonder if Red Bull will be in the mix next year.
Could be very well the most impressive achievement from Max if he succeed again.

Its the end of the season. Teams are changing personnel and drivers etc. More travel to close this out etc etc. Season burnout and for the most part none of this matters overall. Max is WDC, now its endure the final 2 races and get a break from the show.
