    French customer service.

He'll enjoy next season even more since both he and LH are clueless strategists.

I watched them every lap they did. It was pretty apparent the Mercs were much faster and RB about even. I think LeClerc's pass at the start was brilliant and he even challenged Russell for a bit. But the Mercs had it today for whatever reason.

So a couple of thoughts about this event.

    1) its really well organized. The people who work the event know their stuff and are friendly / helpful.
    2) its COLD. Thursday was the worst, Friday a little better, and today not too bad. But you need to be bundled up.
    3) the entertainment between all the events is really good. You might say "BFD" but when you're waiting around there's something good to watch or listen to.
    4) its easy to get in and out of. Again it just means that you can more time doing what you want and less in traffic or parking.
    5) the racing is really good. Was there another race this year with more passing up and down the field?
    6) people who came were knowledgeable. Its not like they came just to be there. Then wanted their favorite driver to win. Even Alpine had fans. Hamilton really liked also.
    7) hard to gauge but from the audience yelling i would say a pro-Ferrari crowd in general.
    8) food is pretty good. Was better last year but you can get food quickly and its all included. This helps speed up the service. You just pick what you want.
    9) starting the race one hour early was a big help. Getting out at mid-night is better than 1 in the morning. It just sounds earlier.
    10) I know most will say this doesn't matter but --- its pretty. You look around and its a pleasant view in all directions.
    11) The Ferrari challenge was a bit of a snoozer. I expected more drama and passing and a bit more crunching of sheet metal. There was some crunching, but really minor stuff.

Do favors???? He is payed millions to do as the team tells him to do! He is literally a worker with a contract, so he should as his bosses say, period.
Sainz wasn't faster on the last stint, Leclerc was literally told not to attack at the end part. How about we stick to facts!?
Leclerc is right to be píssed since he seems to be only one caring about the team and only one who playes the team game.

Good riddance to that Williams driver, may he never get to a podium in his career again

Funny. Useless overall. Charles has a throttle pedal. He could have used it. His problem. Period.

Easy win for Russell and impressive but this was all due to the cold overall. Surprised LH was on the podium. Unlike Checo LH still can race and get the most out of the car.

Nice win for Max. He was able to win often and early in a good car and stay alive when it was not optimal. Lando has zero chance of winning without a better car and a much more clear focus.

Ferrari look like Binotto was in charge.

Ferrari DUMPED him. His only job is to put on his best performance, each and every weekend. Leclerc stopped being Carlos problem at the beginning of the year.

When Hamilton comes along, you're going to see just how charitable Sainz has actually been.

Somebody tell the Ferrari pit wall not to down a bottle of Zinfandel before a night race. :p

I'm beginning to think the best race strategist Ferrari has is .... Sainz.
    And they're dumping him.
I expect a sad, sad year for Ferrari in 2025.

(When comparing points, remember that Carlos missed a race for medical reasons.)

I notice the difference: Max just let Ham by. Nobody is racing Mercedes at this point.
So why did Chuck burn up his tires chasing Russell?

Ferrari is fighting RedBull and McLaren for constructors points.

That start looked almost scripted: Sainz crowding Gasly to let Chuck move up to put the red cars 2 and 3, ahead of both RBs and both McLarens. (Merc isn't in the constructors fight.)

They managed to finish ahead of those teams, but more by luck than strategy.

I don't get it either? Unless I missed something, Sainz overtook him on merit, then had teamorders to let him through, got F'ed over in the pit, then had the pace again and overtook Leclerc again? I'm puzzled.

Well, he still is getting Ferrari's money, so he's expected to follow orders until his last day of work.

Agree in that Hamilton is going to be worse, not only with the team play but also I'm not sure he's going to be any faster if we compare his latest performances against Rusell's.

Sainz and GR are better overall drivers than their respective teammates. Better race awareness, strategy, car setup, feedback, leadership.

CL and LH might be faster at times and moaning 100% of the time.

After being dumped by Ferrari, Sainz looks after Sainz, what's wrong with that ? He owes no loyalty to Ferrari anymore.

You can' expect a driver to be a "team player" when you sack him !!!

As for Leclerc, he is becoming a permanent moaner, and that's sad.

Sainz didn't even obay those team orders during the second stint, he took over a lap to give way than when he was told to; Leclerc gave way immeaditly in the first stint when his mediums graded.

As for overtook Leclerc again, c'mon give me a break. He overtook Leclerc on Leclerc's outlap when Charles still had cold hard tires. And he was specifically TOLD to not pass or push Charles; so the Spanish snake literally broke team orders!

Sainz would never even do that "pass" on the last stint if Ferrari didn't undercut Leclerc with him (if they were in different teams Leclerc would have just pitted 1-2 laps earlier and had clear gap to Sainz when coming out).
A team never undercuts teammates cause thats unfair to the driver ahead, but Ferrari trusted Sainz in this case to just comply if they are close after Leclerc's later pitstop.

Not even gonna talk about that drs game Carlos played with Max. Charles gapped Max to over 1 second literally inside a lap after overtaking him. But you're telling me Sainz needed 6-7 laps to drop Max from drs???!
Telemetry doesn't lie, and after those 6 laps Sainz increased his pace like magic.

If you needed it to be splelled to you Bass, Sainz broke team orders, and he broke what they had agreed before race. And this is not the first time, Sainz is an certified ****** as a teammate.
