Who thinks that driving a new car at speeds of 180 mph is prudent.

OMG yes, Lambo epic fail. Those where the absolute worst carbon seats I ever had in a car. And I think they kept them for the Temerario. Facepalm. Ferrari carbon seats are much better, but indeed seating position is not top notch in the 296. Not enough extension in the steering wheel for me. I have to choose between being comfortable with my legs and the steering wheel being too far away, or being close enough to the steering wheel and my knees almost propped up against the dash. Best seating position is with Aston martin, their range of adjustment is awesome.
In general I find lambos to be the most awkward and uncomfortable cars to drive. Hated the Huracan from that standpoint. All variants. The aventador is really bad too but bigger inside than Huracan. The Revuelto is a lot better. Still feels huge when you’re using it, like the Aventador, but the overall driving position is better and it’s more roomy for sure.
The Lambo is totally awesome and so much more of an event to drive. Seating wise and ergonomics, both Ferrari and Lambo have ways to go although comfort wise Lambo's comfort seats are better than any Ferrari seat Ive sat in. Same goes with driver controls and user friendliness - way better than Ferrari. Sound - well, no comparison, Lambo hands down better. Shouldn't be that way but that's the cold reality of it. I agree the Rev has stepped it on with the seats and ergonomically but still feels a bit big for my liking. I expect the Tem to share the same improvements but not so sold on the look at this stage. May change my opinion once I drive it.
When you say “the lambo”, what lambo? I personally think Aventador drives awful, although it is endearing. The Huracan is a forgettable driving experience and it’s so tight inside there’s no use case I could possibly make for it. If you gave me choice between a huracan spider or Z06 convertible I’d take the American car 10/10 times. Now the Revuelto, yes, that is intriguing, but it’s not a 296 competitor.
I have regular seats in my Evo and they are comfortable but I'm 6'2" so I am staring at the visor and need to slouch to see stop lights
I'm not in love with the electric steering although the revs and exhaust note never get old. It does seem to miss some intangibles that Ferraris usually have...
All I can say is it gets there so quickly and with no drama. Barely feel the speed. The 296/AF is hands down one the best cars I have ever owned. Chet Image Unavailable, Please Login
All current huracans mainly evo - technica - sto. Not a fan of the aventador as it has less headroom and feels a bit big for my liking. Gearbox clunky etc. Too funny - can’t say id take a chevy over a lambo H personally. From my experience all these cars have some issue or other. Itd be like me saying id take a chevy over a 296 and thats unlikely to happen.
I suggest the Prius forums for anyone scared of a little speed talk. I drove an evo spyder rwd. Not enough time to get an insightful opinion except that it sounds great (as to be expected). Sport seats seemed comfortable enough for the type of drives I would take (I’m a glutton for punishment anyway) but that the lateral visibility was extremely poor. I would like more seat time in one because I find them very cool but because of my budget only allowing one supercar at a time, it’s taken a backseat to the McLaren 750 for now. felt like contributing a bit even though it’s not super relevant besides the recent Huracan chat.
