This is a U.S Spec car. The pre-airbag steering wheel is not original to the car, but I doubt anyone cares. It’s highly sought after and the owner threw in the steering wheel to sweeten the deal. Steering wheel is easily worth $10k in the parts market and will probably sell in 2 secs, meanwhile you can find airbag steering wheels on Ebay. Heck I have one for sale if someone wants originality.

    John,
I have spent the better part of a decade disagreeing with you almost religiously about the value of these cars. Religiously and hopefully politely.
But, now I think I agree with you: the market value of the car might exceed my threshold of risk and willingness to maintain the car. It takes anywhere from 2-6 months to get the car into the two "local" service places. Booth of which I respect and adore, its just a supply and demand thing. More work than technicians. I got rid of all my specialty racing parts last year with the sale of my BPR car. I tried to sell the car last year and went through the process of sorting out small details. It takes up valuable space in my garage and head. Ive loved her for almost 20 years. Girls gotta go.
    Thanks for the advice.

hi....just pulled the trigger on 97 GTB manual...but test drove F1...which I also liked...but it was not a manual. Is there any love for these cars? Maybe as punt on future appreciation? Ive seen many in europe for Eur 100-110k...

Also, thoughts pls on japanese cars...they're the only ones I see here...in Dubai

At some point, someone is going to produce a run of manual conversion kits for F1 355's, and then there will be a run on them. Conversion is far simpler than 599, 430, etc. Depending on your skills, it's a two weekend job in your home garage, maybe one.

I got the email from Gullwing about this car at 12:44 pm today, just clicked on the link and it’s sold already, can’t seem to be able to copy the link to photos and it’s already off the site. Looked like it could be a nice driver. 95 red/tan B for $107.5k.
